Transformers G1 (Reissue) Wal Mart Exclusive Bumblebee

Image
If you've been around my site long enough ,you've most likely read about the time my G1 Bumblebee got stolen. If not ,then let me reiterate.I was around 8 or 9 years old in the third grade and pretty popular with the girls I might add.I was a good looking kid ,what can I say ;) Here was the problem,in a nutshell. Most popular girl in class liked me.Strongest kid in class liked most popular girl. Strongest kid in class punches me in the nose on school bus ride home, tells me to stay away from popular girl and then proceeds to steal my G1 Bumblebee. In one fell swoop I lose the girl and my Bumblebee figure!Yeah,The Karate Kid was a great film ,but total bullshit!Had I lifted my arms and leg to attempt a crane kick he would have probably punched me in the stomach ,too. The slight humming sound and watery eyes after getting punched in the nose was tolerable but I wasn't about to risk further injury trying to pull a Ralph Machio. Fast forward from 1986 to 2019 .I've got the girl...

Recent Acquisitions + Swiffer Box Dio Touch Ups!

Like I stated In my last post,Wal Mart has Star Wars Black Series 3 3/4 figures on sale for about $5 bucks a piece! While  most are from the new film there are  a couple of ROTJ based figures to be had.I snagged up the two I needed most,Jedi Luke and Lando! Also, digging around Inside my junk drawer I found 4 stands for one of our  smart TV's.We don't use the stands so I decided to go over two of them with some white paint and use them on my Star Wars winter scene dio. They fit perfectly inside of the round insets.  And now that I  finally have a Jedi Luke figure ,I went ahead and painted up a spare Swiffer box I had laying around all black.   Added two of those TV stands ,unpainted and now I have a dio for my Vader and Jedi Luke figures.I have since added a battery operated touch light and will have pics of the completed dio shortly.   But seriously,If your late to the articulated Star Wars figure scene and would li...

The CORPS!

Image
.As I've said before,I really like the CORPS! and have even sent e-mails to Lanard expressing my love of not only the figures but their price point,as well.I also recommended they do a  cartoon series at some point, maybe a straight to DVD adventure  they could package with some figures. That would be pretty damn epic. They've created some real cool web comics with top notch artwork depicting the new CORPS! vs. The Curse wars that have unfolded since the initial release of the new line of figures. Check those out here http://www.thecorpshq.com/ I'm extremely late to the "Puma" party but have seen enough of her on toy vlogs and action figure sites to want to pick one up for myself. I usually take my time with these figures because Wal Mart always has a surplus of them hanging on the pegs. For about 3 bucks you can pick up this two pack at your local Wal Mart and K-Mart department stores. The Diesel figure Is a plus for me because I didn't have him yet. Puma...

Wal Mart Adventure Wheels

Image
Recently, my desktop decided to go bye-bye ,leaving me with just my phone to post action figure pics from.I tried blogging from my phone but that just wasn't cool. There's a certain intimacy shared between you and your desktop that just isn't present when typing on a handheld smart device .The loss of my desktop made me realize one thing, and that's how much I appreciate blogging. I sort of took It for granted when I had everyday access to my computer. I didn't expect to be up and blogging again for a while ,when my better half decided to surprise the fam with a brand new computer! YAY!So I'm back (to my loyal 4 or 5 followers and commenters)  :) So why not christen the new machine with a Wally World clearance Adventure Wheels set.  I actually picked up two Adventure Wheels sets. At 3 dollars a piece ,I wasn't about to pass them up. Lets look at one of the more obvious observations about this set, and that's the included action figur...
