After selling off most of my DC Infinite Crisis 3.75 figures I tried filling the  void with Spinmaster's offerings. It worked, a little. Now that McFarlane has been releasing this line of 7" DC figs I feel a little reinvigorated and eager to build up my DC collection again.

DC McFarlane Batman (Three Jokers)

Image
$ 19.99 isn't bad at all for these McFarlane DC figures. This is the first in my collection but something tells me  It won't be the last . The sculpt, paint and range of motion on this figure is incredible. The foot articulation at the toes helps immensely when posing and keeps things balanced. Just a great figure overall. I highly  recommend! DC McFarlane figures are big! They blend in nicely with Masterverse figures but not so much with Legends or Classified. I was kind of bummed about that.

Looking forward to cracking this one open! Stay tuned!

It's Coming Along⚡💥

Image
The Shelf Of Badass is slowly starting to take shape. I've got some other figures in mind that I'd like to add to the mix at some point. Meanwhile... Rick Grimes was  way too badass to be displayed alongside Snake's and co. so he gets his very own space. Plus, he didn't scale as well next to the 6" figs. But who cares. This figure kicks ass and you know what that means? Yup, more Walking Dead figures! Coming soon!

I Really Need A Rick Grimes Figure Now😅

Image
The more I look at this shelf, the more I realize I need a Rick Grimes and Daryl figure to add to it! Anybody have any suggestions? I'm not even sure If they have any that would fit the scale.

This is my shelf of bad ass! It will be strategically populated by Punisher, Wolverine, Snake Eyes and the occasional Batman figure. Notice the empty space next to Snake Eyes? I've got a Legends figure on the way to remedy that😉 Stay tuned!

DC Spin Master - Batcycle Playset

Image
Lets keep the ball rolling with Spin-Master's DC 4" figure playset featuring Clayface, Batman and his Batcycle! I'm loving the artwork on the packaging. The action shot on the back is spectacular!  It's too bad I don't have the room otherwise I would have kept the box. I wish Spin Master would have made it so that you didn't have to damage the insert when removing the figures. That backdrop would have made for some nice pics! You only get two accessories. A pair of Batclaws. Clayface looks amazing! Small, yes, but that sculpt is on point. Hes nice and chunky, too, and feels great in hand. I really like this version of Batman. In fact, it's my favorite of the three I own now. The armor is an odd shade of grey, almost forest green like.  The batcycle looks good, too. Nice and heavy in hand made with durable plastic. This was definitely made to take a licking and keep on ticking when played with.  Batman fits nice and snug with both hands firmly gripped on the...

DC Spin Master The Caped Crusader - Batman (Target Exclusive)

Image
Those of you who read my blog know that I have the habit of latching on to a particular line and obsessing over It for about a month or so until something else catches my eye. Well, If Spin Master keeps churning out these little quality 4 inch figures then I'm all In! Lets take a look at Target exclusive Batman!     This particular figure wasn't really on my radar but I always liked the way It looked  In pics online. Once I realized that there wasn't much else to choose from at my local Target, I decided to pick this one up. I'm glad I did! Collectible card... ...and mystery accessories! Yes! I got a translucent black mask/helmet, that will look better equipped than the gold one.   I think he looks pretty bad ass! Hopefully I can acquire more of the black weapons.

2 Targets And 2 Wal Marts Later...

I ended up finding one of the figures I was on the hunt for (Superman) and the other  pick-up (Target Exclusive Batman) was more of an impulse buy. Looking at the packaging label, It seems as If these are two separate lines under the same umbrella. The Caped Crusader , Batman themed  line seems to be the one most available at retail while the Heroes Unite line, consisting of various DC heroes and villains,  Is nowhere to be found. At least In my neck of the woods. I hopped online last night and picked up a couple of the Heroes Unite figures on eBay and had an offer declined on the Flash figure. That fucker wanted $15.99 for  figure that sells for $7.99 at Target! I offered $13 but he wasn't havin' It. What Is It with The Flash, anyways? Why are all of his figures so friggin' expensive? I mean, he's just....fast. Batman has no powers at all and Is still 20 times cooler than the Flash and more affordable In action figure form. Anyways, loose pics of these two fort...

DC Spin Master , I Think I Love You!

Image
Judging from the title of this post, you'd probably think I was a huge fan of DC. Such Is not the case. I like DC, just not gaga over It. I do, however, really like Batman and am familiar enough with the likes of other characters In the DC universe to go gaga over Spin Master's line of  4" figures. After picking up my first figure from the line, 1st Edition Batman, a couple of weeks ago, I have found myself fixated on them! I picked up 1st Edition Robin and Rebirth Tactical Batman a couple of days ago but will only be going over the Batman fig today. Lets check him out! I already went over the packaging  for these figures In my last post featuring the standard  1st Edition Batman. It's super gimmicky and I love it! The draw about It lies In the mystery accessories and cut out action shots. Yes It's super kid oriented but fun enough, I think, for adult collectors as well. It gives you alot to do before you  even get to the figure. It's almost like a blind bag wi...
