Marvel Legends 3 3/4 - Red She Hulk

Image
The Marvel Universe is an ever changing one.Be careful because If you blink,Spider Man might have become a midget mutant and Captain America may  have  formed an alliance with Vladimir Putin. That's how quick things change in this new age of  super heroes and villains.Like, when did She - Hulk  turn red? I got this action figure In a trade with Brother Midnight and must admit to having to do some research on it.From what I can remember,She-Hulk is a villain now?Idk,and honestly I'm too lazy to do another background check. The figure Is pretty awesome, though.

Marvel Legends 3 3/4 - Executioner/Enchantress 2 Pack

I haven't gotten overly enthusiastic about a recently released Marvel 3 3/4 action figure In a long time.In fact there haven't been many 3 3/4 figures at all that I've  felt the need to have to hunt down or obsess over.G.I. Joe is dead with the exception of the exclusive (Revolution) stuff which I'll never be able to get my hands on anyways.I only collect Star Wars figures that pertain to the original trilogy,so all this new stuff Is cool but not must haves.I'm done with Transformers (too much of a scale discrepancy) and I've stated before how I'm no DC collector. At least Hasbro keeps churning out these 3 3/4 Marvel Legends figures.Even though It's hit and miss (mostly miss) ,every 2 or three waves  there'll be a figure or two that I'm really interested In. Like this Executioner/Enchantress two pack.As far as Thor related characters go,Balder the Brave ,Warriors 3 ,Executioner and Enchantress are personal favorites .I'd love a Balder figure a...

Marvel Legends 3 3/4 - Black Panther/Agent 13 (Civil War)

Image
This was the second part of my fathers day gift.Actually, the cash was a gift ,the figures I picked up after the fact.I had already seen the film but I had to go back to it(thankfully it's on Netflix) to see Agent 13 in action.I'm not hip to the newer comics so I don't know much about her.I guess she's Agent Peggy Carter's niece .I thought about waiting  to see if they release any new movie based  3 3/4 Black Panther figures  ,but the willpower just wasn't there. If I wanted to be close to completing my Avengers movie universe collection, both he and Agent 13 were too much of an integral part to pass up.    Agent 13 is a decent figure.Great sculpting all around .Her articulation style is more like the line of  figures we saw for the first two Captain America films. That,i like. I don't like the wonky madness going on with her eyes, though. While symmetrical, they are very far apart and the right eye seems to be wandering just a bit.I guess having per...

Marvel Legends 3 3/4 - Falcon (Civil War)

Image
When Captain America Winter Soldier   Falcon figures hit store shelves ,I felt like something was missing. It looked bland and ,come on,no Redwing? This one is a huge improvement over that version. The wings actually come out of a back pack ,like in the films, and he comes with a nice assortment of accessories, including Redwing. I had to take  wide angle shot to give you a better  scope of Falcons wing span.  Like most of these Legends 3 3/4 figures,Falcon is lacking upper torso articulation. He does ,however, have a swivel waist as well as an articulated neck to allow Falcon to look up when flying or when dispatching Redwing.  Falcon also comes with an alternate ,closed wing, back pack and head sculpt. My second Fathers Day purchase arrived yesterday and ill be taking a look at it later on today.

Marvel Legends 3 3/4 Captain America w/ Motorcycle

Image
Another day, another Captain America figure.Captain America is alot like Snake Eyes when It comes to  contemporary action figures. You'd be hard pressed to find another character with as many figure releases. They both have a ton of  figures with different costume variations and pair well with motorcycles.I almost picked this online for  12 dollars but was happy to find one at Gamestop for about six bucks! An articulated Captain America action figure w/ shield and motorcycle for $6?All day!  It's a pretty nice looking set.The motorcycle is nothing to write home about .I would have liked a star somewhere on the chassis but i guess i can remedy that by placing his shield on the handlebars.Everything is plastic on it,including the wheels.   The figure has decent articulation. All the important ones, anyways. He is missing wrist and abdomen articulation but can twist at the waist. The rest is there, rocker ankles ,etc. Eventually i will get ar...

My Top 20 Figures 15-11

TMNT Movie Foot Soldier has always been one of my favs. Not so much on the strength of the film ,though. In fact,I prefer my TMNT Foot Soldiers to be more ninja like. What drew me to this figure was it's generic guerrilla-military  design. Plus,It's got a certain durable chunkiness to it.With over 15 points of articulation (including waist and wrist),It's super pose-able. You want guns? We've got guns! The two he's equipped with In the pic below as well as one on his right leg In a holster. And just for good measure,he's also got a knife holster with removable knife on the backside of his belt.He holds them all nicely, too. As a kid I would have totally  recreated his backstory, making him a stand alone commando type bad ass.Just a great figure that works. #15 TMNT   Movie Foot Soldier I love the classic super hero vibe this Triton figure gives off.Something about a heroic green amphibious humanoid that just makes sense.I must admit to not knowing a whole lot abo...
