2 MINUTE TOY BREAK !

The Shelf Of Badass is slowly starting to take shape. I've got some other figures in mind that I'd like to add to the mix at some point. Meanwhile... Rick Grimes was  way too badass to be displayed alongside Snake's and co. so he gets his very own space. Plus, he didn't scale as well next to the 6" figs. But who cares. This figure kicks ass and you know what that means? Yup, more Walking Dead figures! Coming soon!

When I mentioned in an earlier post that I really needed a Rick Grimes figure, I didn't think one would end up on my doorstep a few days later💀 Not only did GIjigsaw send me an incredible Rick Grimes figure but he also threw in GI Joe Classied Arctic Mission Storm Shadow!!!WHAT!?!? Thank you so much Jigs👍 It's acts of kindness like this that keep this small toy blogging community intact and on the positive path. Both will be on my shelf of badass! Again, I can't thank you enough 🙏

So remember my Funskool Storm Shadow post?I really loved the figure  but I have to be honest,the upside down Arashikage symbol on his forearm really bugged me.The funny thing Is,I didn't know about the upside down stamp until the day of the blog post!As I uploaded the pic something told me to cross  reference and see If the symbol was correctly applied.That's when ,to my surprise ,I realized the glaring defect. Notice the differences?I still really like the Funskool version but the original Is so much better.Better quality,better paint apps and most importantly an accurate Arashikage tattoo! V.2 Storm Shadow was my Storm Shadow,growing up.I can still remember being mesmerized while holding the figure,still In package,at my local TRU as a kid.What made it even more special to me was the fact that Stormie was now a good guy!This version of Storm Shadow infiltrates Cobra to find out who murdered his uncle and occasionally went on side missions with Snake Eyes!When I first laid eyes on this listing of  a  Funskool India Storm Shadow  ,I had my doubts.I remember buying  a Funskool Sgt.Slaughter  before and being pretty miffed about the quality of the figure.But V.2 Storm Shadow looked pretty damn close to the real deal In pics and so after watching a couple of YouTube reviews on It,I went through with the purchase.
