What's Inside of Package #1

It's hard to express what this figure means to me.It's not because I loved this line as a kid, heck I didn't even know who they were when I got them for Christmas back In  1984.At that time I was an avid watcher of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.I think my mom had caught on because soon after we made a trip down to the local public market where she let me pick out an action figure.I believe I chose Fisto. That Christmas ,there was a huge box under the tree with my name on it.It turns out the box was filled with He-Man MOTU.......no....It wasn't He-Man at all. There was a guy with wings on his head and a cape. Some  native american  looking dude and a bunch of monster hybrid warriors. What I received that Christmas was a box filled with Remco Lost World of Warlord and Warrior Beasts.Ouch! My parents must have thought they were MOTU figures.I liked them, but knew they weren't anything I had seen on TV.There was no Lost World of Warlord cartoon and I knew nothing abo

House of Wax!

"The local Wax Museum is having a fire sale and you have the opportunity to add a life-size, life-like action figure to your collection. Who do you choose?" Dees ees tuff!Damn,so many to choose from.I don't want an actual wax representation of a person, instead It would be a wax action figure,If that's possible. It's going to be between these two... I loved the fact that I was able to add a Titan sized Hulk to my collection,so a life sized replica of this figure would be amazing!Damn <swaying my head from side to side>,just thinking about it... Or.. This guy right here!I've seen the mini Secret Wars bobble heads at Walgreens and the jumbo sized ones online, but a life size Secret Wars figure w/ shield would be epic! All right ,let's flip one of my lucky 80's  coins,1982 to be exact.Heads Hulk, tails Captain America... And the winner Is  Secret Wars Captain America ! There are a plethora of Pop Culture

Marvel Universe Silver Surfer

I think the reason I've become so attached to the Marvel Universe line of figures Is because as a kid ,I didn't have the privilege of having so many different figures to choose from. I had  Marvel Secret Wars ,a great line that only yielded a handful of heroes. And by the time Toy Biz came along,I had already slipped into baseball card collecting, although the X-Men figures never strayed too far from my radar. What Hasbro has done Is remain consistent, releasing wave after wave of  3 3/4 Marvel Universe figures, appealing to the deprived kid In me that only had 10 or so Marvel related figures to choose from back In the early 80s.I think that's what has me,after almost 6 years of action figure re-collecting,still seeking out new Marvel characters to add to my personal universe. And I have Hasbro to thank for making that possible. What Is my "personal universe " you ask?Well, you have to be careful with the rabbit hole that Is Hasbro's Marvel Universe. You can easily
