G.I. Joe ARAH Vintage HISS

Image
I can't say enough about this last trade package I received from Brothermidnight . I've harped on endlessly about desperately needing a Joe fix and Brother came through In the clutch . I mean come on,a vintage HISS! I actually told him that he could hold off on sending this along with another modern HISS  to lower the shipping cost  but he  , In Brothermidnight fashion , sent them anyways. From what I could tell It seems to be complete . Well almost complete If you count the driver . The HISS alone Is just such an iconic vehicle In the Joe mythos .  This begs to be piloted by and equipped with a couple of vintage Cobra Troopers that ,unfortunately,  I don't have . Armored suit CC , Falcon  Raptor and Crystal Ball will have to do for now.  Here's what the shelf looks like now. A big shout out to Brothermidnight for the insane Joe trade package ! There were other great figures included In the box that I'm holding off pos...

Trade Package Figures Part 2

Image
A trio of what I believe are 50th Ann. Iron Grenadiers. 50th Ann. Cobra Commander and 25th Ann. Scuba Gear Baroness. Two figures I absolutely love are Heavy Duty and Stiletto.I'll be going over Stiletto a little more in depth In a future post. One of the things I liked the most about Stiletto was the write up on  her file card.

A Few Of My Trade Package Favs

Of the three figures you see here , I'm most excited about Destro .  I've never had a contemporary Destro figure but always needed one . I'm not sure which version this one is . I'm guessing 25th ann. and probably from a multipack ? The figure I'm most surprised about Is Major Bludd .  I like this guy alot more In hand than I do In pictures.I can't wait to do a group pic alongside my Ultimate Cobra Commander , 50th Zartan and Ultimate Storm Shadow figures! It's no surprise that I'm a Snake Eyes collector so I was super stoked to find this version In the trade box!The Quick Kick and Alpine figures I'm absolutely crazy about!  Here we have an unreleased JP figure  , and exclusive Outback and 25th Ann. Matt Trakker figure . At first I thought the Outback was one of Brothermidnight's customs but come to find out , It's a pretty rare exclusive. I've known about the Jurassic Park figure but never thought I'd own one.In fact,...

Trade Package From Brothermidnight

Image
There's nothing better than a trade package full of toys arriving  on a Saturday! The amount of G.I Joe goodness that was packed into this box is too phenomenal for one post.At the bottom you'll see a pic of some key items that I pulled from the box just to give you an idea of the kind of stuff  Brothermidnight included.Lets start off by taking a look at some cool artwork Brother admittedly drew on the box while sitting In the car on the morning he shipped It. Here's a sneak peek at some of the contents .Not pictured are the two vehicles that came inside the package as well. This is just a fraction of  what was inside the box.G.I. Joe 25th Ann. Quick Kick,Joe Con Exclusive Outback and the one and only Matt Trakker  that released alongside the 25th Ann. figures,I believe. Brothermidnight also remembered me needing a rocket launcher for my Rambo figure and Order,Law's German Shepherd sidekick.Oh yeah, and a vintage HISS!Stay tuned fo...

Marvel Toybiz 12" Spider-Man

Image
When last Brothermidnight and I conducted a trade ,this guy made It into my collection. At first I didn't know what to make of It .But after holding it in my hands and playing around with It a bit,I fell in love! This thing is solid.Standing at a whopping 12 inches tall.Mighty chunky and far from wimpy. In fact I'd say It's pretty hefty.   Damn!So cool! And It's made out of durable good old fashioned action figure plastic.I miss being able to play with a toy without worrying about breaking something. THWIP! I wish one of his hands was a balled up fist.I'm sure I would have been able to put him In some cool punching poses. Bikram Yoga  ,anyone? Hmmmmmmmmm... It's comparison time!Wait,I've heard that before... Thanks Brother ;) I'll be getting around to the rest of that awesomeness when I get some time.

Trade Package From Brother Midnight

I got home to this behemoth of a package sitting on my front  porch  ,a trade box from Brother Midnight.Upon further inspection,It seems the box has been dropped or ripped around the corners ,however, USPS was nice enough to stick an apology right to the side of the packaging lol.Oh well ,shit happens .I'll have an updated post with content pics up later on tonight. Aww,they care....

Marvel Legends 3 3/4 - Spider-Man Noir

Image
Is Hasbro trying to give us all  brain aneurysms with all the name changes on their 3 3/4 figures?First they went with Marvel Universe and then that changed to the Marvel Infinite Series which then leads us to what they are being called now,Marvel Legends. But there Is nothing on the packaging that lets us know they are the 3 3/4 version, for instance,If you were just looking at them online. It's all very confusing ,especially If you are new to the game. This Spider-Man Noir figure falls under the Legends label and was sent to me via trade by   none other than  Brother Midnight of  Green Plastic Squirt Gun       . If you remember , a few posts back, I showed you a pic of all my Spidey figs.... Now I can add Spider-Man Noir into the mix  . I don't know much about this characters background, other than the fact that he is an alternate universe Spider-Man .I think from the 1930's If my memory serves correct.I passed him up at a lo...

Marvel Universe - Bulldozer

Image
When Brother Midnight said he had  Wrecking Crew member ,Piledriver ,for trade I was like "No doubt!" It turns out Piledriver wasn't the figure he had ,It was Bulldozer all along lol! That's all good Brother,I get them confused all the time.Funny thing Is,I used to own this figure. It came In a two pack along with the ever lovin'  Thing .I traded him away to Buzz of  Action Figure Adventures  ,and have wanted to re-acquire one since. In the end,I'm glad It turned out to be Bulldozer and not Piledriver. Here he is next to the Wrecking Crew's leader, Wrecker. All I need now are Piledriver and Thunderball. I know ,I suck at posing .Lately I just haven't felt that extra motivation to put my action figures in cool poses. Even If I did find that motivation,I'd most likely still suck at It. The Wrecking Crew played a major role In the Secret Wars series.Well, not that major but they do  appear often and  have a lot of dialogue througho...
