2 MINUTE TOY BREAK !

I wish I could say that I found this at my local Walmart but such was not the case. More than a month after reports that MOTU movie figures were hitting store shelves, my local Walmart is still devoid of anything He-Man. Until I can find any of these figures in the wild, Amazon will be my go-to.  These figures take me back to a simpler time, when toys were toys. The  card front depicts He-Man and Skeletor having a stare contest. Mekaneck adorns the base of the packaging.  Meck was  fun to pose and photograph. He won't be on anybodys top 10 list but he still provides good old fashion action figure fun. Also, is it just me or does he give off Joe vibes? He kind of  reminds me of Scrap-Iron.  I didn't think I was gonna like the neck extensions but they photograph well. One straight neck accessory would have been cool, too, but I'm good with what we got. I was able to get some decent shots of Meck  doing some long neck recon...

I can see why so many collectors have been raving about this MOTU CORE line of action figures. They're pretty damn solid! He-Man is the nicest figure in this set.  There isn't much that I can say that the pictures don't already convey. The figure is on point. CORE figures feel great in-hand. They're toys, meant to be played with. Sturdy with tight joints and great paint, much like the toys we played with as kids. This Amazon exclusive He-Man is a variant, featuring darker, more movie accurate hair color than the single carded version.  I'm kinda giddy over MOTU right now and I haven't even seen the movie yet. More CORE figures otw as well as a couple of MOTU Chronicles pick ups. Stay tuned!
