Whenever I find myself with a little downtime,I go to the old toy room and reflect.I reflect on alot of things. Why do I have so many toys? Why Is It so damn hot outside? Why do I complain about the heat when In the winter time all I did was  pray for summer to get here?Today I got to thinking about a Jason Vorhees / Snake Eyes matchup.Or,not even a match up but just a comparison. Both have a lot in common.Jason wears a  mask to cover his hideous appearance. So does Snake Eyes. They're both silent and can sneak up on you when and where you least expect it.Both carry a sword .Well Jason carries a machete .Same shit.1982 marked the first time Jason donned his trademark hockey mask In Friday The 13th part 3.So you make the call.Did the creators of G.I. Joe have Jason Vorhees In mind when they created Snake Eyes? This Is the original Sunbow cartoon version of Snake Eyes.More militarized ,before the ninja motif took off.But damn It If that head design doesn't resemble a hockey ...

What's with the G.I. Joe franchise and why Isn't Hasbro doing something about  It?It's crazy because with all the advancements In our military ,amazing technology and possible real world tie- ins ,you would think they'd have enough fodder to be able to spit out G.I. Joe films on a yearly basis.Heck, I'd even settle for a Netflix series ala Agents of Shield.Give us something,Hasbro.Something! Anybody else think Marvel films have become a little too comedy heavy?Yeah, the writing Is great. So are most of the jokes. But,not every character In the Marvel Universe has a sense of humor .While I'm not the biggest fan of FOX's line of X-Men films,I can appreciate the seriousness about them. Speaking of Marvel and Hasbro, where are the 3 3/4 figures? It seems like It will only be Marvel Legends 6 inch figures and larger from here on out. That sucks, too, because I really wanted a 3 3/4 Beyonder figure for my collection. That's It for this...

Hot Wheels discount bins are the ultimate eye catcher.Even If you don't dabble In die cast ,there Is no denying the gravitational pull of  a 3 foot high bin overflowing with brightly packaged , multi-colored  metallic  shininess :) I get sucked In all the time, but never pull the trigger on anything.I don't care much for die cast cars. Not the normal ones. Not even souped up,shark shaped ones. It's a different story when It comes to the Marvel themed Hot-Wheels.I always give those a second look whenever I see them on the pegs, but never picked any up because of the 3 dollar price tag most carry.Well, the other day I was out at my local Wal Mart looking for a wireless mouse w/ mouse pad .Upon finding what I was looking for,I begin walking back towards the checkout line , inevitably passing by that sultry  Hot Wheels discount bin. Evil Hot Wheels bin I tell you, pure evil!I didn't expect to find anything In there ,but a dollar bin Is still a dollar bin.I had to give It a quic...
