2 MINUTE TOY BREAK !

I'd like to take this time to thank Mattel for putting out not only great Netflix content, but also great action figures to go along with. Ok, these figures aren't great like "GiJoe Pursuit of Cobra" or " Marvel Legends". They aren't super articulated and don't even look like the source material we grew up with. The  thing that makes MOTU Power Attack figures great is that they aren't anything like the aforementioned but still manage to be cool! It's a package deal for me. I reluctantly watched the first few episodes of the Netflix series after coming away mildly disappointed from Kevin Smith's version. Right from the start , the intro theme, brightly colored scenes and video game like battle animations grabbed my attention and I've been hooked since. My favorite character, and coincidentally favorite figure from the line so far, is Ram - Mam! 

Just in time for the new season! I'm really digging the Netflix series and figures as well. 

This figure brought me back, looking at it on the pegs with Batman's arms outstretched with cape attached. It brought back memories of Silverhawks and Kenner's Batman  line of figures. Upon opening the figure, I realized there wasn't an arm raising  action feature. Just the glider shaped cape with clips that connect to the figures wrists and legs. I still dig the figure but wish, in the name of nostalgia, Spinmaster would have added an action feature. 

After picking up the battle damaged version, I knew I'd like to eventually add the standard version of The Batman's Selina Kyle. These single carded figures come with three weapons and a mystery evidence card. 

I was happy to find these in the wild today while doing a little shopping with my brother. Looking forward to cracking these open.
