2 MINUTE TOY BREAK !

A while back I picked up  a Spider-Man Lethal Foes battle glider figure ,not so much for the glider but more so to finally have a black suited Spider-Man figure In my collection. He wasn't exactly black ,though,even though that's what it said on the packaging.He was more of a metallic blue. It wasn't bad looking just not what I was looking for ,exactly.I did,however ,love the sculpt.After doing a little digging,I found out that there was another black suit Spider-Man in the Fiercest Foes line with that same sculpt!Since finding that out,It's been on my want list and a couple days ago  I was finally able to hunt one down for a decent price.

A little something I picked up over the X-Mas holiday ,Battle Glider Black Suit Spidey!Well,not exactly black.More like blackish,grayish bluish with a metallic hue Spidey. I actually love this variant  figure and I think the color scheme works really well,too. Here he Is on the back of the Fiercest Foes  card . At first,I didn't think I'd be on board with the added glider accessory but I can dig It.It actually makes more sense than that giant  Styrofoam glider that came with the black Spidey Secret Wars figure back In the 80's .  In fact,this figure  might be paying homage to that great 80's black suit Spider-Man set. The glider fits nicely and immediately reminded me of Silverhawks when you spread the wings out. That Is a pretty awesome ,soft goods glider. Yesss!I was finally able to score a Secret Wars black suit Spider-Man!This has been one of the hardest ,of the ones that were released here In the states, for me to track down for a decent price.This one I had as a kid ,but I can't remember where I got him.I want to say CVS Pharmacy.I picked him up boxed with that good for nothing  Styrofoam glider.You couldn't place the figure on the glider from what I can remember and I don't remember ever seeing a glider In the comics.In fact,let me pull up a boxed image on Google to see If I can get a better understanding of It today..hold on...   Ok so here's that set.As you can see the figure just seems to be sitting there with no kind of cockpit or seat to hold him In place. I'm thinking maybe there was a rubber band or something that held the figure down,not sure,though.That glider never lasted long in my collection,In fact i'm pretty sure I tossed It aside and forgot all about It.All I really wanted was the figure.B...
