2 MINUTE TOY BREAK !

Just because the MOTU movie craze has died down doesn't mean I can't keep the party going with some kick ass Chronicles figures! Let's check out Skeletor!  Even though these are supposed to be  high end figures, there's something about them that feel a little bit off. For one, Skeletors head sculpt is great but the hood restricts movement. Trying to manipulate it to look up or down will sometimes result in the head popping off. That kind of blows. Also, make sure to pop those alternate hands on nice and tight to prevent them from coming off when posing. Not major deal breakers but something to be aware of.  Skeletors buck is painted in a cool, whitewashed blue that looks good in hand.  Here's the thing with MOTU Chronicles figures, they have lots of little details throughout but no black wash or shading to accentuate it. Funny thing. Of the 4 figures you get in this box I thought Man-at-Arms was going to be my favorite and Goat Man my least favorite. So far it's the complete opposite. Man-at-Arms is pretty bland. I can't not see Leonard 6 when I look at this figure. The pistol looks kinda boring but it's cool that you can store it on the peg holster located on his right thigh.  Man-at-Arms isn't a horrible figure but he's not great either. Mezza- Mezza. This might be a situation where the figure grows on me after watching the movie. We'll see.
