2 MINUTE TOY BREAK !

The great thing about recollecting things from your past Is being able to flash right back to the exact moment you first acquired them.With comics,you get to narrow it down to the specific months and years!Silver Surfer was a series I tried  to buy monthly ,as they released.I remember getting pretty hooked on the storyline and wanting to read every issue but only being able to acquire the first 4 .Comic shop visits were sparse as the only person who knew where all the shops were was my sisters boyfriend at the time.He would always find the time to pick me up for trips to the Arcade,Toys R Us and LCS.One of those trips to the LCS resulted in the acquisition of this baby right here.... I think the reason I've become so attached to the Marvel Universe line of figures Is because as a kid ,I didn't have the privilege of having so many different figures to choose from. I had  Marvel Secret Wars ,a great line that only yielded a handful of heroes.And by the time Toy Biz came along,I had already slipped into baseball card collecting,although the X-Men figures never strayed too far from my radar.What Hasbro has done Is remain consistent,releasing wave after wave of  3 3/4 Marvel Universe figures,appealing to the deprived kid In me that only had 10 or so Marvel related figures to choose from back In the early 80s.I think that's what has me,after almost 6 years of action figure re-collecting,still seeking out new Marvel characters to add to my personal universe.And I have Hasbro to thank for making that possible. Two sorely needed figures have been crossed off  the list.I can finally move on from these two and focus on the other  MU figures that are currently on my want list.
