Marvel Infinite Series - Chameleon

Image
Head on over to Hasbro Toy Shop now people! They've got a great sale on action figures ,from Littlest Pet Shop to Marvel Infinite. You can get to them via ebay!I just picked up two Marvel Infinite series figures at 3.99 a piece! The prices may have gone up since then but It won't hurt to check and see. Many of the discounted figures include the lesser popular ones like Big Time Spider-Man ,Grim Reaper and Thunder Strike Thor .Hell,Hyperion Is still floating around there as well.So definitely check them out.Even If they're not figures on your want list,at the price they're going for,It's totes worth It ;) I had to do it.. . A lot of people overlooked this figure because of the bad reviews It got on YouTube. Not so much for his appearance but more so because of his lack of leg movement.Others had gripes with the choice of alternate heads ,which to me,makes no difference.I'm loving the crap out of this figure right now. I had to give him a firearm ,be

MY TOP 10 FAVORITE G.I. JOE ACCESSORIES One   of my favorite things about G.I. Joe figures was the accessories some of them came with.No doubt, the animal companions has alot to do with that. There were also lots of cool and unique weapons and extras thrown In for certain figures, which imo put them over the top. These were figures that appealed to me more than the ones that came with your standard backpack and rifle. So lets begin with number 10. 10.Dial Tone's backpack   9.Road Pig's brick weapon  8.Super Trooper's chromed out weapons                                                                                                   7.Big Boa's boxing gloves and punching bag                                                                                                                                                                             6.Hydro Viper's Manta Ray and scuba gear

Aliens Among Us!

“If aliens visit us, the outcome would be much as when Columbus landed in America, which didn’t turn out well for the Native Americans.” –Stephen Hawking "I've always had this theory that Stephen Hawking secretly rules our world. This Is In no way meant to offend anyone with a disability ,but It just so happens to factor into my theory.Think about It, a ruling man In his condition would want to shape and mold society and every day life into something that would accommodate him. He's angry at the world and now he wants everyone to be like him.Think about It- everything Is voice activated from T.V.'s to Smartphones .No need to use your arms and hands.Hover boards eliminate the need to walk.Cars will be self driving and Hawking hates bees hence the decrease In .bee population .A stretch?Maybe. But hell,Hawking Is probably an Alien himself and If he says we will go the way of the Native Americans then we better listen." - Big Tone For more incredibly addic

Marvel Universe Juggernaut

Image
Juggernaut Is the third and final pick up from my small ebay haul a few days back.I like the figure but still think Juggernaut needs to be bigger. He's not a bad size, but It doesn't do the comic version any justice. In the comics Juggernaut would take up whole pages. That's all good, cuz I needed a Juggernaut In the worst way and this one was pretty cheap. It came to me a little on the loose side, though.Remember to always ask the seller about the tightness of the joints on the figure in question.

Buying Blind

Who doesn’t love gambling on a blind box or mystery package?                                                          Me. I don't like not knowing what I'm gonna get, when It comes to action figures and toys.Even as a kid,I would ask the guy behind the counter at McDonald's If he could throw the specific toy I wanted into my Happy Meal cuz I didn't want to get a Miss Piggy  again ,I wanted a Gonzo. The only time I knew my hands were completely tied was with packs of baseball cards and cereal box premiums.Which reminds me,remember when we all got hip to the cereal box premium schemes? My sister would dig for hours through a box of Coco Puffs looking for that pack of Bonkers chewing taffy to no avail.I'd quickly step In and show her the ropes, pulling the cereal box prize out from inside the  inside lining of the box ;)Those were the days! Brother Midnight  has a small army of mini figures 20 Years Before 2000  may have changed my stance on mini figur

Package # 2

Image
Marvel Secret Wars Wolverine. This one has been on my want list forever!Just recently the prices have started to drop on this figure and I was lucky enough to snag one up  for 6 bucks and some change shipped. Not too bad considering the shape he's In. The only rubbing I see are around his belt area and he's missing his claws.Other than that ,the cowl Is a solid black and so Is everything else pretty much. It's scary sometimes, picking stuff up on ebay ,cuz even though you can see the sellers item pics, you still don't really know. One thing you can't see In pics is the condition of the joints and  If they are tight or loose.I got lucky with this one.Another want list figure off the checklist- phew! The mask Is a solid black. The camera flash makes It look like the paint is rubbed on the nose and mask area. My Secret Wars collection so far.

What's Inside of Package #1

It's hard to express what this figure means to me.It's not because I loved this line as a kid, heck I didn't even know who they were when I got them for Christmas back In  1984.At that time I was an avid watcher of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.I think my mom had caught on because soon after we made a trip down to the local public market where she let me pick out an action figure.I believe I chose Fisto. That Christmas ,there was a huge box under the tree with my name on it.It turns out the box was filled with He-Man MOTU.......no....It wasn't He-Man at all. There was a guy with wings on his head and a cape. Some  native american  looking dude and a bunch of monster hybrid warriors. What I received that Christmas was a box filled with Remco Lost World of Warlord and Warrior Beasts.Ouch! My parents must have thought they were MOTU figures.I liked them, but knew they weren't anything I had seen on TV.There was no Lost World of Warlord cartoon and I knew nothing abo

House of Wax!

Image
"The local Wax Museum is having a fire sale and you have the opportunity to add a life-size, life-like action figure to your collection. Who do you choose?" Dees ees tuff!Damn,so many to choose from.I don't want an actual wax representation of a person, instead It would be a wax action figure,If that's possible. It's going to be between these two... I loved the fact that I was able to add a Titan sized Hulk to my collection,so a life sized replica of this figure would be amazing!Damn <swaying my head from side to side>,just thinking about it... Or.. This guy right here!I've seen the mini Secret Wars bobble heads at Walgreens and the jumbo sized ones online, but a life size Secret Wars figure w/ shield would be epic! All right ,let's flip one of my lucky 80's  coins,1982 to be exact.Heads Hulk, tails Captain America... And the winner Is  Secret Wars Captain America ! There are a plethora of Pop Culture

Marvel Universe Silver Surfer

Image
I think the reason I've become so attached to the Marvel Universe line of figures Is because as a kid ,I didn't have the privilege of having so many different figures to choose from. I had  Marvel Secret Wars ,a great line that only yielded a handful of heroes. And by the time Toy Biz came along,I had already slipped into baseball card collecting, although the X-Men figures never strayed too far from my radar. What Hasbro has done Is remain consistent, releasing wave after wave of  3 3/4 Marvel Universe figures, appealing to the deprived kid In me that only had 10 or so Marvel related figures to choose from back In the early 80s.I think that's what has me,after almost 6 years of action figure re-collecting,still seeking out new Marvel characters to add to my personal universe. And I have Hasbro to thank for making that possible. What Is my "personal universe " you ask?Well, you have to be careful with the rabbit hole that Is Hasbro's Marvel Universe. You can easily
