2 MINUTE TOY BREAK !

Ho-lee SHIT!Brother Midnight's trade package arrived today ,and right off the bat, delivered a punch that knocked me silly and right back to the 80's!A while back,I posted about a man cave I was In the process of hooking up and Bro Midnight gave me an idea to throw up some Christmas lights and maybe a couple of movie posters. Both were great ideas ,only problem Is I didn't have any movie posters :( Well,Brother took It upon himself to aid me In my efforts to create my make shift man cave with a mind blowing assortment of  80's movie posters! Willow!God, If you don't remember Willow then you were In a cryogenic sleep for most of the 80's.I need to see this again! Predator 2  In spanish!Me gusta very, very much :) Are you kidding me?E friggin' T!?!You almost made a grown man cry with this one Brother. Last but not least,a film so epic that none of the words In the title had to be capitalized. *batteries not included !This film showed...

My very first memories of Zombies date back to Night of the Living Dead.I was In my teens when I  first saw It re-aired on TV ,and It didn't really scare me.I remember It being pretty intense but nothing that really scared the crap out of me.It wasn't until Resident Evil that I would start giving Zombies the respect they damn well deserved. This game released In 1996 ,well before the  Walking Dead  craze and the influx of Zombie films that would be released In the 2,000's.Not that Resident Evil started the trend, but It got the ball rolling for our generation ,kind of like how Night of the Living Dead got It going for kids In the 60's.I remember watching an interview with the creator of Walking Dead and not once did he mention Resident Evil as It being one of his inspirations.I'm sure he played the shit out of that game and gained at least some inspiration from It. Resident Evil on the PS1 filled that  post Jason Vorhees,Bubba Sawyer,Michael Myers and Fre...

Another discounted Hasbro Toy Shop pick up,Beta Ray Bill has found his way onto my Marvel Universe toy shelf.I don't care If they're released under the  Infinite or Legends 3 3/4 mantra ,to me they are all Marvel Universe.I must admit to only picking this figure up due to the low,low price tag of $3.99.  I just thought, this Is too cool of a character to pass up.Beta Ray Bill may sound like the name of a used VCR salesman to you ,but he Is far from that.In fact Beta was one of the few characters In the Marvel Universe mythos to ever give Thor a good ol' run for his money.Beta Ray Bill was even able to lift Mjolnir and use It against Thor In the midst of the heated battle.Odin catches wind of the skirmish and deems Beta worthy of his own hammer,Stormbreaker! You have to check out some of his cartoon appearances ,Planet Hulk comes to mind as one of my personal favs. Truthfully,I didn't know shit about Beta Ray Bill until I decided to actually go ahead and purchase the figur...

And yet another villain to add to my Marvel Universe collection! This Is one of the nicer figures In the Infinite series.Plus, his  scythe makes for a great back scratcher. My fondest Grim Reaper memories date back to my child hood.Just kidding.I don't know much about Grim Reaper   but remember him being Simon Williams'/Wonder Man's brother.$3.99 on ebay Hasbro Toy Shop. Go get him! Come on,wouldn't  you want a scythe for a right arm ,too?!?

For this weeks challenge, seeing as how Halloween Is right  around the corner ,I decided to choose  a few figures from my collection  that would creep me out the most If I were to see them in real life. These guys don't need masks for Halloween this year because they are the mask! They all have monster faces that can't be taken off at the end of  a hard evil crime committing day. They wake up like this.So here they are In no particular order... You might remember Hordak from the old show Welcome Back Kotter, wait a minute  ,yeah no  that was Horshack,my bad. Moving right along.  Hordak Is by far the scariest looking figure In my collection, and he stands out because of it. He leads his army of Horde troopers against She-Ra In the old Filmation cartoon series. He Is the leader of the Evil Horde and very angry right now because he seems to have misplaced his red cape. We'll leave him alone and move on to the next abomination.     ...

Head on over to Hasbro Toy Shop now people! They've got a great sale on action figures ,from Littlest Pet Shop to Marvel Infinite. You can get to them via ebay!I just picked up two Marvel Infinite series figures at 3.99 a piece! The prices may have gone up since then but It won't hurt to check and see. Many of the discounted figures include the lesser popular ones like Big Time Spider-Man ,Grim Reaper and Thunder Strike Thor .Hell,Hyperion Is still floating around there as well.So definitely check them out.Even If they're not figures on your want list,at the price they're going for,It's totes worth It ;) I had to do it.. . A lot of people overlooked this figure because of the bad reviews It got on YouTube. Not so much for his appearance but more so because of his lack of leg movement.Others had gripes with the choice of alternate heads ,which to me,makes no difference.I'm loving the crap out of this figure right now. I had to give him a firearm ,be...
