Amazon VTOPMART Acrylic Display Case

Before I get into my latest action figure purchases, I wanted to show you guys what I recently picked up on Amazon. This item might be old news to most of you but since joining Prime I've been finding lots of cool action figure peripherals like these VTOPMART clear display cases.   


Everything arrived nicely packaged and undamaged. I bought a two-pack during the whole Prime day thing that took place last week or so. I think I paid $18 for the pair.


I probably should have read the instructions before putting these together. There's definitely a specific order to follow when attaching everything.   


All's well that ends well and I'm really digging the end result. They look really good. The acrylic display boxes are clean without any stress cracks or blemishes. You can go side by side or stack one on top of the other. Each unit comes with two shelves. For larger, 6 inch figures, you're gonna want to go with one shelf. 


The access panel in front is a door that opens downward and securely shuts via two small magnets on the upper left and right corners.

CT Toys is heavy on my radar right now. I was pleasantly surprised with Wolverine but this Spider-Man figure has made me a full fledged believer. Included are 5 sets of alternate hands, 1 with magnets (6 in all if you count the ones he comes equipped with), 1 extra set of articulated feet with magnets, 4 web streams and an alternate McFarlane style head sculpt. Oh, and a display stand.  I've said in the past how sucky I am at posing action figures. That said, MAFEX/CT figs are great for posing, even if you're not very good at it. 1990 Toy Biz Marvel Superheroes Daredevil

Growing up we had lots of cool superhero toys to collect. There was never a shortage of Batman, Superman or Spiderman figures in the toy aisles. Mainstream characters got all the love. Dudes like Daredevil, not so much. That all changed in the mid to late 80's (Mattel Secret Wars) and in 1990 Toy Biz would start releasing their seemingly neverending line of Marvel Superheroes that gave us action figures of everybody from  Daredevil to Deathlok.
