2 MINUTE TOY BREAK !

Scratch another Marvel Universe figure off the want list. I'm pretty damn patient when It comes to waiting on prices of action figures to come down. And even If they don't ,There's always the chance that one will pop up on eBay for the right price.For me, anywhere from 8 to 12 dollars for an action figure Is the "right price". I was lucky enough to find this Iron Fist figure that normally goes for about 20 plus dollars ,for 8 bucks shipped. This Is actually from the Marvel Universe Greatest Battles comic packs that comes packaged with Power Man. I've had Power Man In my collection for a while now but never thought I'd complete the two man set seeing as how most Iron Fists are so overpriced on eBay. I refuse to spend 20 dollars on a modern  3 3/4 action figure . I got lucky with this one!

Copperhead was one of those figures most kids never had because  he came packaged with the Water Moccasin. Unless you were fortunate enough to have your parents buy you that vehicle ,you were crap out of luck because Copperhead figures weren't sold individually. This Is his modernized ,G.I Joe 25th Ann. version and It's insanely cool! Damn,gotta love that color scheme!Copperhead Is just  badass !

I gotta say,I'm excited but at the same time worried .We are finally getting a stand alone Snake Eyes film. But will It be any good? In my opinion ,probably not good enough for the die hard fans. We will always find something to nitpick . I really like the military aspect of Snake Eyes's backstory  and I think they're going to go full on Ninja fighter for this one. Again ,I love Ninja so If they do decide to go that route ,I'll be cool with it.If you guys don't already know , Henry Golding (the guy in the middle) will be playing Snake Eyes. To be honest ,I don't know much about him.I'll have to do my research. Robert Schwentke (Divergent,Insurgent , etc.)  will be the director so that could be a good thing. Only time will tell. I will say that I haven't been this stoked about a film release since Captain America First Avenger! Also,from what I've heard ,the designers of Fortnite figures will be working with Hasbro on the movie figures.6 ...

Today I realized why I started collecting action figures ,again, as an adult  In the first place. I forgot how therapeutic It Is to simply pick up and pose an action figure. It hit me today while I was taking a closer look at my Ultimate Snake Eyes figure. I know lots of people talk about how blogging can be  so therapeutic and good for the soul. I don't disagree. But I collected before I blogged. Baseball cards, comics and action figures have been curing my ills way before I began posting about it.  Even now , when I'm feeling down  , I'll instinctively walk over to my display shelves to pose random action figures. It takes my mind off of whatever It is that may be  ailing me. The moral of the story here is - Just because your not posting about your collection as much, never take your collection for granted -Try to remember why you began collecting In the first place and enjoy the moment without having to stop, snap a pic and write about it.

2020 Is upon us and with It a slew of resolutions. What are mine you ask? Oh ,you didn't ask. Well I'll tell anyways . I don't have many 2020 goals ,toy related, anyways. One part of my collection that I've always wanted to work on was vintage Star Wars. I'll be trying to pick up more of the figures I had as kid and even that wasn't much but let's see how It goes. The handful of vintage Star Wars figures that I own now aren't really ones of my choice but rather odd ball stuff sent to me from past trades. 2020's newest addition Is none other than the fabulous Hammerhead! Hard to believe this figure came out In 1978!
