I haven't been this enthusiastic about an action figure line since Sun-Man and the Rulers of the Sun. That run was epically fun to collect and this line is no different. It's been one cool fig after another. Today we take a look at Destro x Krang!
Not a ton of mobility here but that's to be expected with a character like Krang and his android body.
Destro is well represented in this figure. Everything from his chain, color scheme down to the blasters on his right hand.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that Krang was removable.
The one thing that worried me were the fisted hands. How was he going to hold his weapons? Well, turns out both fists can be removed and are interchangeable with the axe and ball-and-chain he comes with. So not only are you getting an awesome Destro/ Krang hybrid but you're also getting a hint of Trap-Jaw!
The more I look at these figures the more I keep thinking Playmates deserves some kind of award for these designs and the line in general. You can tell that a lot of thought, care and love for both franchises when into this product. The revamped and remixed file card bios, individualized weapons and accessories. It's a damn near perfect execution.
"Don't stop, planet rock....don't stop!"
Enjoy the rest of your Saturday people and stay tuned for more TMNT X GIJOE 🐢 ⭐!
