A Post For Jon 😉

A few posts ago, fellow blog follower and reader Jon  requested I show some of what was in my sportscard shoeboxes. So below are just a couple of oldies but goodies, mostly guys from my childhood, sitting quietly stashed.  Some of you toy bloggers out there may be familiar with some of the names.

  1. I'm gonna make a habit of sprinkling in a sportscard post or two every now and again. Breaks up the monotony.

  4. I can't say that I've ever said or done anything to inspire a post from someone else before -- it's kind of neat, thank you! Do you keep all of your cards in toploaders, or just the crème de la crème?

    1. You're welcome! It's no biggie, Jon. Those shoeboxes used to contain all rookie cards. Just recently I've decided to fill it with players non rookie cards as well. A nice mix of semi and superstars ranging from the early 80s up to 2018. I haven't picked up anything current in a while.

  5. Very cool! There's gotta be a 1987 Topps Bo Jackson "Future Stars" card in there somewhere?

  6. Great cards Thanks for sharing! Ozzie and Kirby are my favorites of the bunch.

    1. Why did Guillen come to mind when you mentioned Ozzie? I'm like " I didn't show any Guillen cards" lol. I forgot about Smith. Kirby Puckett was such a stud but then again so was pretty much every one else who played in that era. I miss 80s baseball!
