I picked up the other sets of Corps! figs containing the new arrivals.I don't even know their names yet but they are pretty damn cool looking.Especially for them being discount figures.
WOW! thats a lice looking figure , I might pick these up myself .I saw that all the Corps stuff was in the clearance aisle at my Walmart. I just took all my GI Joe stuff down from the shelfs to make room for MOTU figures also because I gave up on trying to collect modern Joes due to price and rabbid competition for them on ebay but now I might have to find someplace for a few to hang out with these new Corps guys.
This Is a good starting point to start collecting Corps! If you weren't doing so already.Especially If they continue to release articulated figures like this.
The other day ,my better half and I had the chance to traverse our local mall early In the day.I hate going to malls at peak hours or on the weekends. The crowds are just too damn cool for me.Long story short, our mall now has a toy store! I couldn't believe my eyes. From a far It looked like It was going to be some artsy fartsy place with educational toys ,wooden blocks and model kits, but no!This place had pretty much everything collectors go for nowadays. The name of the store Is "Go!,Toys and Games" and I can honestly say that I've never heard of It before.Everything was a dollar or two extra ,but that's not too bad considering how ridiculously expensive modern toys are In hobby and toy shops these days.I really hope this place sticks around. There Is a nice mix of everything.Marvel Legends,Star Wars to blind bags to Funko figs.On top of that there are tons of board games and books. WTF? Yes! 3 3/4 Marvel Legends!!!!!Not alot thou
As much as I love the Classified line of Joe figures, I feel like there's other Joe stuff out there that deserve a little bit of that spotlight. Pictured are two custom cardback figure protectors and four Diamond Select 💎 GI Joe figures. I'd been looking for a way to protect my stashed 3.75 o-ring Joe's when I came across these online. I picked up William Perry's and Snake Eyes protectors and will be adding more as they are made available. These are unpunched, clean and professional looking cardbacks that feature vintage artwork on the front and file card on the back. Diamond Select just doesn't get the props they deserve in my opinion. As much as I dig their Marvel Minimates line, these Joe Minimates are equally cool! I'm not even sure I want to open these guys up. I mean I want to, but would hate to.

ReplyDeleteGreat stuff! I always thought Corps was a knockoff GI Joe and therefore was unworthy to look at. I have changed my mind over the last 9 years.
ReplyDeleteIf you get them down there In Mexico, snag em' up.You won't be disappointed.
