TMNT Mutant Mayhem - Leonardo

I was checking out some recent SDTB posts and saw these newer versions of TMNT figures. It really is amazing how this franchise manages to change with the times and stay current. I haven't kept up with the new stuff, media-wise, but always see product in the toy aisles at my local Walmart. They're everywhere! In fact, while shopping for my sister at Walgreens I stumbled across Leonardo and decided to pick him up. I blame it on Super Duper Toy Box 😉 
There really aren't any negatives when it comes to this figure with the exception of a small glue stain on the back of his head. It's a little bothersome but not a deal breaker. 

Getting this guy out of the packaging and posing him for pics was fun. This may be indicative of my age but I did not have a good time cutting the weapons out of the weapons rack. I like the homage but will probably leave them attached If I decide to pick up the rest of the gang.

Last but not least, file cards! Very old school and a welcomed addition. 
Ultimately this is a kids toy and not really an adult collectible. A fun figure? Yes. But It's hard to say If I'm gonna pick up  anything else from this line. I'm having space issues so it's not like I can display them anywhere.

    Cutting them out or not... it's pretty cool to see him come with all of those weapons.

    Hell, I'm thinking about buying the Mix & Match Turtles as well- they're packed with even more weapons that can be stowed on the figure- they really look battle ready. Loving this updated version of TMNT, really fun.

The other day ,my better half and I had the chance to traverse our local mall early In the day.I hate going to malls at peak hours or on the weekends.The crowds are just too damn cool for me.Long story short,our mall now has a toy store! At The Corner Store

Ooooh,this is a good one!Corner stores.What would we,as kids,have done without em'!Corner stores were our gas stations.Where we would go to fuel up on junk food at the midway point of our  day.On the way there we would reflect on how things  had gone so far and speculate on what might or should happen next.Jokes were  told,friends were clowned and many a fart was laid.
