Halloween Kills - Ultimate Michael Myers ( Neca)

I finally found some time ( on my day off) to do what I truly enjoy, and that's taking pictures of action figures! Let's check out Michael Myers!

Dang! Michael Myers still gives me the Willie's! Even at this big ol' age 😜 Anyways, I broke out my newly purchased light box to snap some pics and I've got some mixed feelings about it. The light box, not the figure. The figure rocks! 

I think the problem is that the figure is a little too big for the box. I had to pull away from it to be able to crop out everything around it. I'm also not liking the texture on the interchangeable cloth backdrops. The light box itself works great and lights up nicely. There is also an opening at the top for cool overhead shots. If I could just find some flat, smoother surfaced  backdrops, I'll be in business. Here are some pics of Myers taken inside the lightbox. Not horrible but could be better. Enjoy the pics!

    My fondest memories of owning movies was when I had all of these classic films on VHS, among many, many others.

    These movies MK Ultra'd the shit outta me as a kid! Their faces ( Leatherface, Jason, Freddy, Michael) are forever etched in my memories.

    It's a pretty neat and cheap pick up. I should have gone a bit more in depth on it.

The other day ,my better half and I had the chance to traverse our local mall early In the day.I hate going to malls at peak hours or on the weekends.The crowds are just too damn cool for me.Long story short,our mall now has a toy store! I couldn't believe my eyes.From a far It looked like It was going to be some artsy fartsy place with educational toys ,wooden blocks and model kits,but no!This place had pretty much everything collectors go for nowadays.The name of the store Is "Go!,Toys and Games" and I can honestly say that I've never heard of It before.Everything was a dollar or two extra ,but that's not too bad considering how ridiculously expensive modern toys are In hobby and toy shops these days.I really hope this place sticks around. There Is a nice mix of everything.Marvel Legends,Star Wars  to blind bags to Funko figs.On top of that there are tons of board games   and books. WTF? Yes! 3 3/4 Marvel Legends!!!!!Not alot thou

A GI Joe Post That's Not Classified

As much as I love the Classified line of Joe figures, I feel like there's other Joe stuff out there that deserve a little bit of that spotlight.   Pictured are two custom cardback figure protectors and four Diamond Select 💎  GI Joe figures.   I'd been looking for a way to protect my stashed 3.75  o-ring Joe's when I came across these online. I picked up William Perry's and Snake Eyes protectors and will be adding more as they are made available.   These are unpunched, clean and professional looking cardbacks that feature vintage artwork  on the front and file card on the back.  Diamond Select just doesn't get the props they deserve in my opinion. As much as I dig  their Marvel Minimates line, these Joe Minimates are equally cool! I'm not even sure I want to open these guys up. I mean I want to, but would hate to.
