Shelf Of Bad Ass (Update)


Cowboy Logan was a must add to the shelf of bad ass🔥🔥🔥 I'm gonna sandwich him in between Snake Eyes and Batman and see how I like it. I'm not sure If you guys have seen the new Walmart exclusive Grim Knight Batman but he's pretty insane looking and may take the place of the one I have on display now. We shall see!

    Cool figure. Is there a story behind the red sword? I've only seen Wolverine in the 90's and 2000's cartoons and movies. Never really read any of the X-Men or Wolverine comic books.

    I know Logan's story began in the military, in fact I believe he may have served with Steve Rogers (Captain America) in WW2. From there many other story arcs derived, including one that takes place in Japan, where he trained and fell on love with Mariko and fought with Silver Samurai as well as other clans. So that would explain the ( muramasa blade) sword.

    Figures that come with an extra head have always weirded me out for some reason, it just seems so unnatural.

    I never know what to do with the other one, either. Displaying them next to the figure bugs me. I guess I could throw the extra head on eBay and sell it for $75- $12.99 s&h 😂

The other day ,my better half and I had the chance to traverse our local mall early In the day.I hate going to malls at peak hours or on the weekends.The crowds are just too damn cool for me.Long story short,our mall now has a toy store! I couldn't believe my eyes.From a far It looked like It was going to be some artsy fartsy place with educational toys ,wooden blocks and model kits,but no!This place had pretty much everything collectors go for nowadays.The name of the store Is "Go!,Toys and Games" and I can honestly say that I've never heard of It before.Everything was a dollar or two extra ,but that's not too bad considering how ridiculously expensive modern toys are In hobby and toy shops these days.I really hope this place sticks around. There Is a nice mix of everything.Marvel Legends,Star Wars  to blind bags to Funko figs.On top of that there are tons of board games   and books. WTF? Yes! 3 3/4 Marvel Legends!!!!!Not alot thou

A GI Joe Post That's Not Classified

As much as I love the Classified line of Joe figures, I feel like there's other Joe stuff out there that deserve a little bit of that spotlight.   Pictured are two custom cardback figure protectors and four Diamond Select 💎  GI Joe figures.   I'd been looking for a way to protect my stashed 3.75  o-ring Joe's when I came across these online. I picked up William Perry's and Snake Eyes protectors and will be adding more as they are made available.   These are unpunched, clean and professional looking cardbacks that feature vintage artwork  on the front and file card on the back.  Diamond Select just doesn't get the props they deserve in my opinion. As much as I dig  their Marvel Minimates line, these Joe Minimates are equally cool! I'm not even sure I want to open these guys up. I mean I want to, but would hate to.

Pop Culture League Assignment - Shelfie

I remember The League of Extraordinary Bloggers back In the day, never partook In any of the festivities, though. This time around, especially with state of  the blogosphere , I feel I need to participate a little more to see If we can breathe life back into toy blogging! So , a big thank you to Brian over at Cool and Collected  for  bringing the League back. Here's my  introductory league assignment post. Very simple ,snap a pic of two of your very favorite shelves. I chose the two shelves hat display all of my vintage . It only recently wrapped around to the bottom shelf with the addition of  a couple of Swamp Thing figures I received from Brother Midnight In a recent trade. I'm hoping to fill out the bottom shelf over the coarse of the winter.
