Action Figure Of The Day

If there's any character in the Marvel cinematic universe that needs a reboot it has to be Wolverine.  No disrespect to Hugh Jackman as he's done a great job playing Wolverine over the years but it never sat well with me. IMO, he's just too tall for the roll. What made Wolverine so bad-ass to begin with was the fact that he was smaller than most all of his opponents. What do you guys think? To reboot or not to reboot?

    Reboot would be cool. Who would you choose to play him? The only actor under 6 feet who has the temperament would be Mark Wahlburg. Or Joe Pesci. :-P

      The first guy that popped in my mind was the dude from Walking Dead , Norman Reedus ( Daryl). But I gotta believe there's a bunch of undiscovered talent out there that could just as well play the roll. Joe Pesci 🤣🤣

    The only Wolverine I'm familiar with (outside of Jackman) is the 90's cartoon version. That's the whole reason I liked him and the X-Men. But I'd have no problem with a reboot. The more X-men and Wolverine... the better.

      That cartoon was pretty damn great! I still go back and watch episodes here and there. Some predictive programming in there , too .

    I think if they did do a reboot, and actually cared about the quality, they'd have to go with an unknown. But Hollywood has proven time after time that they don't care about quality, just money, so we'd most likely get someone like Matt Damon (I'm only being half facetious) as the "new" Logan.

The other day ,my better half and I had the chance to traverse our local mall early In the day.I hate going to malls at peak hours or on the weekends.The crowds are just too damn cool for me.Long story short,our mall now has a toy store! I couldn't believe my eyes.From a far It looked like It was going to be some artsy fartsy place with educational toys ,wooden blocks and model kits,but no!This place had pretty much everything collectors go for nowadays.The name of the store Is "Go!,Toys and Games" and I can honestly say that I've never heard of It before.Everything was a dollar or two extra ,but that's not too bad considering how ridiculously expensive modern toys are In hobby and toy shops these days.I really hope this place sticks around. There Is a nice mix of everything.Marvel Legends,Star Wars  to blind bags to Funko figs.On top of that there are tons of board games   and books. WTF? Yes! 3 3/4 Marvel Legends!!!!!Not alot thou

A GI Joe Post That's Not Classified

As much as I love the Classified line of Joe figures, I feel like there's other Joe stuff out there that deserve a little bit of that spotlight.   Pictured are two custom cardback figure protectors and four Diamond Select 💎  GI Joe figures.   I'd been looking for a way to protect my stashed 3.75  o-ring Joe's when I came across these online. I picked up William Perry's and Snake Eyes protectors and will be adding more as they are made available.   These are unpunched, clean and professional looking cardbacks that feature vintage artwork  on the front and file card on the back.  Diamond Select just doesn't get the props they deserve in my opinion. As much as I dig  their Marvel Minimates line, these Joe Minimates are equally cool! I'm not even sure I want to open these guys up. I mean I want to, but would hate to.
