Action Figure Of The Day

With everything in disarray right now I figured I'd shell out a few action figure of the  day posts throughout the week. I'll basically be reaching into the old toy stash , pulling out random figures to feature and post about. Today's action figure is none other than Marvel Universe Apocalypse! I'll never forget my first encounter with Apocalypse in the pages of  80s X- Men and X- Force comic books. I always thought he was dope but loved his four horsemen even more. Good times!

    I always get Thanos and Apocalypse confused. Lol. I guess that's blasphemy among comic book enthusiasts ;D

    I always got him mixed up with DC's Darkseid. Put the three of them together. Have an apocalyptic conga line.

    Apocalypse has had some great toys over the years, but my favorites will always be the first two from ToyBiz way back when.

    Agreed. My favorite Apocalypse is the first one ToyBiz released with the extending action feature.

      The BAF Apocalypse was damn impressive as well. Those first few BAFs (Apocalypse, Galactus, and the Sentinel) were absolutely amazing.

      I love pretty much every Legends BAF but since I'm not a 6 inch figure collector I have none in my collection. Too bad the 3.75 lines never did the BAF thing.

The other day ,my better half and I had the chance to traverse our local mall early In the day.I hate going to malls at peak hours or on the weekends.The crowds are just too damn cool for me.Long story short,our mall now has a toy store! I couldn't believe my eyes.From a far It looked like It was going to be some artsy fartsy place with educational toys ,wooden blocks and model kits,but no!This place had pretty much everything collectors go for nowadays.The name of the store Is "Go!,Toys and Games" and I can honestly say that I've never heard of It before.Everything was a dollar or two extra ,but that's not too bad considering how ridiculously expensive modern toys are In hobby and toy shops these days.I really hope this place sticks around. There Is a nice mix of everything.Marvel Legends,Star Wars  to blind bags to Funko figs.On top of that there are tons of board games   and books. WTF? Yes! 3 3/4 Marvel Legends!!!!!Not alot thou

A GI Joe Post That's Not Classified

As much as I love the Classified line of Joe figures, I feel like there's other Joe stuff out there that deserve a little bit of that spotlight.   Pictured are two custom cardback figure protectors and four Diamond Select 💎  GI Joe figures.   I'd been looking for a way to protect my stashed 3.75  o-ring Joe's when I came across these online. I picked up William Perry's and Snake Eyes protectors and will be adding more as they are made available.   These are unpunched, clean and professional looking cardbacks that feature vintage artwork  on the front and file card on the back.  Diamond Select just doesn't get the props they deserve in my opinion. As much as I dig  their Marvel Minimates line, these Joe Minimates are equally cool! I'm not even sure I want to open these guys up. I mean I want to, but would hate to.
