Marvel Issue #1 When All Hell Breaks Loose!

I better take a good look at this now cuz it aint staying like this much longer.Ive come to the realization that Im gonna need a whole new shelving unit in order to properly display my contemporary action figure collection ,Marvel Universe included.This chaotic scene took a hot minute to put together and this isnt even the whole colle tion.I decided to go with classic styled figures for this display ,leaving all the movie versions of them out.Too bad its all coming right back down.It was fun putting it together though.

    Looks great, I especially like the placement of Bullseye! Couldn't you just leave it up until you get that new shelving unit?

    Thanks for stopping by ,Jon✌I would but most would end up falling down overtime and its a pain having to constantly fix them again.This was more of a one and done pic session.Plus,ive got more Starting Lineups on the way and Im probably going to display those instead.Thanks again for the visit 😎

    Not sure what im gonna do with them,ultimately.I was thinking of maybe placing each individual figure in a plastic protective shell and hanging them up against a wall or something.Still debating.

      back when I was trying to complete the vintage GI Joe collection I was using something like this to store the figures and their weapons.I had actually labeled each drawer with the name of what figure would be going there. I never completed the collection but it was a good storage set up :)

    Those are pretty cool.Definitely gotta do something before all my figures end up warped ,although It happens mostly with the newer Infinite series figures.Maybe the plastic they used for those figures was cheaper.

The other day ,my better half and I had the chance to traverse our local mall early In the day.I hate going to malls at peak hours or on the weekends.The crowds are just too damn cool for me.Long story short,our mall now has a toy store! I couldn't believe my eyes.From a far It looked like It was going to be some artsy fartsy place with educational toys ,wooden blocks and model kits,but no!This place had pretty much everything collectors go for nowadays.The name of the store Is "Go!,Toys and Games" and I can honestly say that I've never heard of It before.Everything was a dollar or two extra ,but that's not too bad considering how ridiculously expensive modern toys are In hobby and toy shops these days.I really hope this place sticks around. There Is a nice mix of everything.Marvel Legends,Star Wars  to blind bags to Funko figs.On top of that there are tons of board games   and books. WTF? Yes! 3 3/4 Marvel Legends!!!!!Not alot thou

A GI Joe Post That's Not Classified

As much as I love the Classified line of Joe figures, I feel like there's other Joe stuff out there that deserve a little bit of that spotlight.   Pictured are two custom cardback figure protectors and four Diamond Select 💎  GI Joe figures.   I'd been looking for a way to protect my stashed 3.75  o-ring Joe's when I came across these online. I picked up William Perry's and Snake Eyes protectors and will be adding more as they are made available.   These are unpunched, clean and professional looking cardbacks that feature vintage artwork  on the front and file card on the back.  Diamond Select just doesn't get the props they deserve in my opinion. As much as I dig  their Marvel Minimates line, these Joe Minimates are equally cool! I'm not even sure I want to open these guys up. I mean I want to, but would hate to.

Pop Culture League Assignment - Shelfie

I remember The League of Extraordinary Bloggers back In the day, never partook In any of the festivities, though. This time around, especially with state of  the blogosphere , I feel I need to participate a little more to see If we can breathe life back into toy blogging! So , a big thank you to Brian over at Cool and Collected  for  bringing the League back. Here's my  introductory league assignment post. Very simple ,snap a pic of two of your very favorite shelves. I chose the two shelves hat display all of my vintage . It only recently wrapped around to the bottom shelf with the addition of  a couple of Swamp Thing figures I received from Brother Midnight In a recent trade. I'm hoping to fill out the bottom shelf over the coarse of the winter.
