Let Me Upgrade You!

Image
Up until today, this had been my only Rambo Force of Freedom action figure.Kind of bland with no accessories save for his trademark knife. I've been wanting to find his belt and bandolier  for the longest and ultimately ended up just replacing the whole gosh darn figure. Behold... Can you spot the differences?Apparently there were two versions of this figure. One with a small head and one with a bigger one.I always knew this but wasn't aware that the one I recently got In the mail was the big head version until I had It In hand.  I'm still missing his rocket launcher and a couple of other accessories but I like my new Rambo figure ,now. I think It's  a decent  upgrade.Although,I'm not sure which size head I prefer.

...and It's family road trip time again. You're allowed to bring 5 toys/action figures to accompany you on that long drive to sunny Florida.Out of your current collection, what 5 figures make the voyage with? My universe of choice would have to be Marvel. But do I go with vintage Secret  Wars or modern Marvel Universe figures?Below are my choices... Venom Is a must when you talk about all out brawling and maximum carnage. I'd have him pair up with Wrecker ,who's on the run from  Punisher. Captain America intervenes ,wanting to take Wrecker into custody but Frank Castle has other plans.Meanwhile .... ...Venom Is morphing into this! It's action figu

The Instagram experiment has now come to a close.I've been on there for about a year and a half ,amassed 700 + followers and made some great cyber friends along the way.Everything was cool until I realized that I was becoming addicted to it.Scrolling through endless upon endless toy pic feeds ,reluctantly liking posts just to get likes in return. Then I started to get curious ,looking up old people I knew from back in the day and that's when It hit me.It had taken me years to get over my somewhat forgettable past and Instagram was bringing It all back.People I didn't want to remember started creeping into my suggestion feed, along with all those terrible memories .I realized ,I was happier without all that.I prefer blogging. It's more quaint ,private and slower than all these insta-apps that are designed for their users to indulge.Slow is my speed.I'll admit,It was fun at first but then It started to get a little too personal,so ultimately  It was time to insta-scram f
