2 MINUTE TOY BREAK !

I'm always looking for odds and ends to spruce up Castle Doom and I thought,why not a hanging cell to hold those pain In the ass superheros  In check!When I saw the listing ,I thought the funny little goblin was there just to convey scale.I didn't think the little booger would be taking the trip on the USPS Express along with the cage. It's a little smaller than I expected but still works with the smaller scaled Marvel Universe figures. " Dooms elevators are more archaic than the ones In my NYC apartment building ."  " I'll just grab a seat and shut this door and press . ..." KLANK! " Awe crap !" I borrowed an eye hook from Magneto ,screwed that baby in and voila! 

Recently,I won an ebay auction for two Magneto figures.One was the Marvel Showdown  3 3/4 Mags and the other one ,this Toybiz beauty.Funny how as a kid you'll have no problem  overlooking the unsightly aesthetics of  a toy just because your so happy to have that character In the form of an action figure.Figures like quick change Bruce Wayne and Iron Man come to mind.And you thought Funko Pops had big noggins?Melon head...I mean Magneto here Is no exception. This,I feel,was the big draw.Being able to remove Magnetos helmet was key because much like In  the comics,he didn't wear It 24-7.Plus you were able to have It fly off after a Wolverine clawing. While some thought the removable helmet was the coolest thing about this Magneto figure,others thought his hidden feature was even cooler! * Kinda looks like Trump,doesn't he? Lets give Magneto the old eye hook test shall we? Yes!Magnetos magnet feature still works!Come to think of It,does magnetis...

No movie adaptation blew me away more than the first Spiderman ,with Tobey Maguire.The scene where he first discovers his powers Is so unforgettable!Everything about that movie was epic.One of the best times I've ever had watching a movie.                                   Check out these other great big screen transitions  Mr.Smith gives us 5 finalists Alexis deals out some Justice! If you weren't lucky enough to pick up the Marvel Universe  release of Vision,good luck finding one under 30 bucks now :( If you're not too picky about having him In a newer,updated look ,then the new 3 3/4  Marvel Legends Vision figure's for you! He's got pretty much the same color scheme this time around ,only arranged differently.The head sculpt on the Marvel Universe version Is better looking,though,imo.But that's not to say that this Isn't a solid figure.    Well,semi-solid.I really hate the new articulation on these figures.I'm not a huge fan of rocker ankles ,especially when the legs have limited mobility.   No swivel wrists either .Man that sucks! Aesthetically,you'll like Legends Vision.His colors pop on display and he looks great next to the rest of your Avengers figures. And now for the obligatory "Now I need" list. My X-Men are starting to round out some with the addition of Storm and Rogue .The only two on my need list now are Jean Grey (Pheonix version) and Professor X .On the villains side of things,must adds are Mystique, Sabretooth,Apocalypse(even though I hate how short he is) and Omega Red . Mr.Sinister maybe. I think a yellow suit Wolverine would make this group pop more.That's another one I'll have to add to the list < sheesh  >

Much like Alexis ,I kept to myself when It came to playing with my action figures.I had friends ,but none that I would ever allow Inside of my little action figure world.My older brother and sisters always had their own,grown up  thing going on. My cousin was the only one I could sit and vibe with on some Gi Joe and Transformers shit lol!But I don't remember having any action figure play sessions with him .It was more or less just a show and tell session and maybe a trade would develop somewhere down the line.Like I've stated In the past,action figure play sessions weren't just for fun.Lots of times ,when family problems arose or when my older siblings became too much to bare,action figures proved to be quite therapeutic.Much like Brother Midnight,I would drag out stories  that sometimes spanned days. Always curious about this.With all of us being action figure collectors as kids,I'm wondering what everyone's approach to actually playing with them was.Did you prefer playing alone,or with a friend?Please explain why for both answers.How did you play with them?While you're at It,throw In the kind of relationship you have with your toys.Were you the care free ,I don't care what happens to or who plays with my toys type of kid or were you overprotective of them?Set the scene.
