TMNT Mega Bloks - Leonardo (Eastman & Laird's)

Image
Time to wrap up my Eastman Laird Mega Bloks Turtles extravaganza.I kid.I have two more sets of TMNT Mega Bloks to look at before moving on to figures sized a little bit more to my liking. As much as I love this particular run of  B&W Mega Bloks  TMNT , I really miss my 3 3/4 figures! They look so damn cool together! I needed some villains to go up against my Eastman Laird Turtles and I figured ,why  not do a movie/comic crossover.I'll be going over this set sometime this week.

When I stumbled across the discount store site hollar.com ,I wasn't planning on getting anything other than the Paper craft's Deathstar. But with these little guys going for 2 bucks a piece ,I wasn't about to pass up on having the entire set of  Eastman & Laird's Turtles  for under 10 bucks! Plus ,It put me over the 15 dollar price range, qualifying me for free shipping! I'm digging the figure stand more than I thought I would. The little action shot portraits are a nice touch. There Is a ton of eye candy with these figures, from the box on down to the toys included within. Not pictured Is the instruction booklet which also features a mini comic strip .If the comic strip differs from turtle to turtle,I'll post pics of all four of them.  "COWABUNGA!" Here's Mikey  ,toe to toe with a Foot Soldier Brother Midnight sent over In a trade months back.I'm glad I hung on to him.

This was more for the Foot soldiers.I think It was Brother Midnight who sent me a Mega Bloks Foot soldier In a trade we had made. Now I'll have a small group of them to combat my Eastman Laird Turts.

Star Wars Black Series 3 3/4 - Admiral Ackbar

I'll admit to not knowing much  about Ackbar.I remember seeing him on a ship ,co piloting, maybe?I always thought he was the coolest looking alien In the film, though. As a kid I always wanted his action figure but had to settle for an Admiral Ackbar 3 3/4 rubber eraser (which was pretty damn cool in it's own right). Now ,I finally have my very own ,highly articulated Admiral Ackbar figure! This Black Series 3 3/4 Admiral Ackbar figure has jettisoned to the top of my favorites list! It's a damn near flawless figure. From the paint apps to the head sculpt and execution of his smock ,just an excellent figure. I'm not so sure how to work his contraption, though.I'm pretty sure I have him holding It upside down. "How do you work this thing?"  "Oh yeah,and..what Is It?" I don't remember ever seeing the Admiral In action.Like I said before ,my memory of him Is solely behind the ships terminal.Never wielding a
