Mattel Secret Wars - Daredevil

Image
Got this guy cheap on the bay and considering how rough these Daredevils usually look ,this one's not that bad.If you weren't aware, this particular figure's paint has been known to run, some call it bleeding because of the color. You can't tell from the pic but mine has lighter shaded arms and legs that faded over time.Do not ,i repeat do not try to take a wet rag to your Secret Wars Daredevil figure .It will actually begin to rub off.I find it strange that this is ,presumably, the only figure in the line that does this.On the positive side,he still has the majority of his DD emblem. Here is my collection as it stands now.

Round Robin Social Media Challenge- To Display Or Not To Display

A while back, friend and fellow toy blogger   Mr.Smith created The Round Robin Social Media Challenge.A challenge that involved one person picking a topic for everyone else  to post about. The first person to post their entry got to choose the next weeks topic.I'd like to get that ball rolling again.I want to start this off by stating that you are in no way shape or form obligated to participate. One of the cool things about Round Robin is that there are no rules, meaning we can take months off from it if we choose to.And we did just that. But this is good because it gives us all a chance to regroup and refresh our minds with ideas and future Round Robin topics. My good buddy Brother Midnight made a good point ,saying that it was starting to become almost chore like ,and it was.But i can't lie, there seemed to be alot more cross communicating and interaction when Round Robin was around. You might be wondering why I'm posting this on a Wednesday as opposed to the beginning ...

Marvel Legends 3 3/4 Captain America w/ Motorcycle

Image
Another day, another Captain America figure.Captain America is alot like Snake Eyes when It comes to  contemporary action figures. You'd be hard pressed to find another character with as many figure releases. They both have a ton of  figures with different costume variations and pair well with motorcycles.I almost picked this online for  12 dollars but was happy to find one at Gamestop for about six bucks! An articulated Captain America action figure w/ shield and motorcycle for $6?All day!  It's a pretty nice looking set.The motorcycle is nothing to write home about .I would have liked a star somewhere on the chassis but i guess i can remedy that by placing his shield on the handlebars.Everything is plastic on it,including the wheels.   The figure has decent articulation. All the important ones, anyways. He is missing wrist and abdomen articulation but can twist at the waist. The rest is there, rocker ankles ,etc. Eventually i will get ar...
