Birthday Pick Ups # 2

Image
V.2 Storm Shadow was my Storm Shadow, growing up.I can still remember being mesmerized while holding the figure, still In package,at my local TRU as a kid. What made it even more special to me was the fact that Stormie was now a good guy! This version of Storm Shadow infiltrates Cobra to find out who murdered his uncle and occasionally went on side missions with Snake Eyes! When I first laid eyes on this listing of  a  Funskool India Storm Shadow  ,I had my doubts.I remember buying  a Funskool Sgt.Slaughter  before and being pretty miffed about the quality of the figure. But V.2 Storm Shadow looked pretty damn close to the real deal In pics and so after watching a couple of YouTube reviews on It,I went through with the purchase. I must admit to being pretty pissed off once the figure arrived. The seller described the item as Mint Inside  Packaging sold on creased card ,and as you can tell by the pic below ,the figure seemed to have a yellowish tint to it. Birthday Pick Ups #1

It has been an emotional roller coaster these last couple of weeks to say the least. It seems like every month another one of my family members Is hospitalized.I lost one of my favorite people In the world ,my little cousin , passed away at the young age of 26 a few months back.My favorite aunt landed In the hospital a couple months after and now I'm dealing with an even bigger pain of having to see my dad in a hospital bed these last couple of days.Is It just me or are people sicker nowadays more than ever before?I think this Is what has spurred me to go on a health kick. Isn't that card art glorious! It's like Warpath's reaching out to grab the action figure before you get a chance to break It out of It's plastic confines!  Warpath was one of the few Transformers I owned as a kid and I absolutely loved him!Maybe It had  to do with the fact that he was a
