2 MINUTE TOY BREAK !

This is actually my second ML Miles figure. I had to purchase a replacement because I gave the first one to my 4 year old grandkid who apparently knows more about the character than I do. I say this because immediately after giving him the figure he began shouting " SPIN!, SPIN!, SPIN!" I laughed out loud and asked his mom who Spin was. Turns out it's what they call him in the kid friendly Disney XD cartoon. Geek card revoked again! This time by a 4 year old, lol! So proud, tho 😊  There are more than a few Miles Morales figures out there and this one isn't the most popular. Some have complained about the head being too big and the legs looking a bit off but neither really stand out to me. Miles is just a  kid so the head should be a little bigger than his still growing body.  This figure is a nice representation of Miles as he appeared in his Marvel comics debut. I'm enjoying it and look forward to addin...

I stated in earlier posts that I wanted to read up on Miles Morales to get a better feel for the character. I think I'm on the right track with this recent TPB Ultimate Comics Spider-Man. Included is Miles Morales first appearance in  Ultimate Fallout issue #4. Looking forward to reading this!  (Front) (Back) Much like the sports card collecting community, most of my comic book purchases on eBay always arrive with a couple of surprises. In this case, the seller was nice enough to include 3 free comics with my purchase. So cool!  (Front) (Back) (Front) (Back) (Front) (Back)

Miles Morales. I was never a huge fan but then again I didn't know enough about him to form a definitive opinion. I still don't. When the Spidey-verse went bizarro I paid less and less attention. At some point I'd like to pick up a TPB or a few single issues of early Miles Morales appearances to catch up. Or maybe, in an alternate universe, I already have!  I like this figure. Everything from the cool accessories down to the overall appearance. These are the kinds of figures that make snapping pics enjoyable. Even with the limited articulation,  because of all the different accessories you can get some pretty cool shots.  This isn't some special effect filter. I'm not sure what happened here but my phone cam did something weird to Miles Morales. How apropos that it looks like an alien symbiote. I kinda like the way it came out.  Next up...
