Trade Package Figures Part 2

A trio of what I believe are 50th Ann. Iron Grenadiers.


50th Ann. Cobra Commander and 25th Ann. Scuba Gear Baroness.


Two figures I absolutely love are Heavy Duty and Stiletto.I'll be going over Stiletto a little more in depth In a future post. One of the things I liked the most about Stiletto was the write up on  her file card.

      I had to Brother !I needed a Red Skull figure,too LOL. The custom was pretty cool looking 😉

    this package just keeps on giving out awesomeness!

    I just love getting army builders in bulk, there's something really cool about unwrapping several of the same specialty troops, like you are receiving reinforcements for your private army or something.

    Not a fan of the Crimson Guard attire for Cobra Commander but that mold might be the best cobra commander out there right now. I had in my plans to get this figure to paint it or swap parts for it to be all black with no red. This because the first Cobra Commander I got was the BattleCorps one that was all black, it was a really cool figure and one of my favorite Cobras.

    Heavy Duty and Stiletto look cool af by their own merits.

    I actually like the red accents on this C.C. And your spot on about this version being the best out there.The 25th was cool but the Retaliation Ultimate sculpt is pretty much perfect.I wish they would have kept on releasing Ultimate versions of our favorite Joes.

The other day ,my better half and I had the chance to traverse our local mall early In the day.I hate going to malls at peak hours or on the weekends.The crowds are just too damn cool for me.Long story short,our mall now has a toy store! I couldn't believe my eyes.From a far It looked like It was going to be some artsy fartsy place with educational toys ,wooden blocks and model kits,but no!This place had pretty much everything collectors go for nowadays.The name of the store Is "Go!,Toys and Games" and I can honestly say that I've never heard of It before.Everything was a dollar or two extra ,but that's not too bad considering how ridiculously expensive modern toys are In hobby and toy shops these days.I really hope this place sticks around. There Is a nice mix of everything.Marvel Legends,Star Wars  to blind bags to Funko figs.On top of that there are tons of board games   and books. WTF? Yes! 3 3/4 Marvel Legends!!!!!Not alot thou

A GI Joe Post That's Not Classified

As much as I love the Classified line of Joe figures, I feel like there's other Joe stuff out there that deserve a little bit of that spotlight.   Pictured are two custom cardback figure protectors and four Diamond Select 💎  GI Joe figures.   I'd been looking for a way to protect my stashed 3.75  o-ring Joe's when I came across these online. I picked up William Perry's and Snake Eyes protectors and will be adding more as they are made available.   These are unpunched, clean and professional looking cardbacks that feature vintage artwork  on the front and file card on the back.  Diamond Select just doesn't get the props they deserve in my opinion. As much as I dig  their Marvel Minimates line, these Joe Minimates are equally cool! I'm not even sure I want to open these guys up. I mean I want to, but would hate to.

Pop Culture League Assignment - Shelfie

I remember The League of Extraordinary Bloggers back In the day, never partook In any of the festivities, though. This time around, especially with state of  the blogosphere , I feel I need to participate a little more to see If we can breathe life back into toy blogging! So , a big thank you to Brian over at Cool and Collected  for  bringing the League back. Here's my  introductory league assignment post. Very simple ,snap a pic of two of your very favorite shelves. I chose the two shelves hat display all of my vintage . It only recently wrapped around to the bottom shelf with the addition of  a couple of Swamp Thing figures I received from Brother Midnight In a recent trade. I'm hoping to fill out the bottom shelf over the coarse of the winter.
