Avengers Toy Binge!

A few months back I featured some Avengers comic books that I used to own as a kid. It was a great walk down memory lane and most likely the reason why I haven't been able to think about anything else but Avengers these last couple of weeks. I've even put GI Joe on hold in order to focus on building up a Legends West Coast Avengers team. I think I'm off to a good start.

    I never knew anyone as a kid who liked the West Coast Avengers. You could always count on finding those books in the quarter boxes, and it was pretty much a given that you'd get at least one issue in any grab bag. I personally never went out of my way to get any, but still ended up with a bunch -- which I did read, and surprisingly didn't hate.

    I always liked the friendly rivalry east and west coast Avengers had. I also really liked Wonder Man.

The other day ,my better half and I had the chance to traverse our local mall early In the day.I hate going to malls at peak hours or on the weekends.The crowds are just too damn cool for me.Long story short,our mall now has a toy store! I couldn't believe my eyes.From a far It looked like It was going to be some artsy fartsy place with educational toys ,wooden blocks and model kits,but no!This place had pretty much everything collectors go for nowadays.The name of the store Is "Go!,Toys and Games" and I can honestly say that I've never heard of It before.Everything was a dollar or two extra ,but that's not too bad considering how ridiculously expensive modern toys are In hobby and toy shops these days.I really hope this place sticks around. There Is a nice mix of everything.Marvel Legends,Star Wars  to blind bags to Funko figs.On top of that there are tons of board games   and books. WTF? Yes! 3 3/4 Marvel Legends!!!!!Not alot thou

Recent Pick Up!

My last "Merry Christmas To Me" post was going to be of Marvel Legends Spider-Man animated cartoon series figure that I thought I was getting a great deal on. It turns out the figure was a bootleg. $30 down the drain and a fake Spider Man figure in the trash. I didn't even bother trying to get a refund from the seller. I'll chalk it up to a loss and keep it moving. So today I figured I'd  treat myself to something dope in the toy aisles at my local Walmart and found this!  I'm not sure if this is a reissue or what but It was the last one on the pegs and so I grabbed it. Now I can't get that damned theme song out of my head.
