Go! Games and Toys
The other day ,my better half and I had the chance to traverse our local mall early In the day.I hate going to malls at peak hours or on the weekends. The crowds are just too damn cool for me.Long story short, our mall now has a toy store! I couldn't believe my eyes. From a far It looked like It was going to be some artsy fartsy place with educational toys ,wooden blocks and model kits, but no!This place had pretty much everything collectors go for nowadays. The name of the store Is "Go!,Toys and Games" and I can honestly say that I've never heard of It before.Everything was a dollar or two extra ,but that's not too bad considering how ridiculously expensive modern toys are In hobby and toy shops these days.I really hope this place sticks around. There Is a nice mix of everything.Marvel Legends,Star Wars to blind bags to Funko figs.On top of that there are tons of board games and books. WTF? Yes! 3 3/4 Marvel Legends!!!!!Not alot thou...
I thought about doing a segment like this a couple times at my site. It's just such a pain to pull everything out of the shelf.
ReplyDeleteI had to pull figures off of a shelf to make room for Alpine, so I definitely feel ya. ALPINE also had to come off of display for the pic. I'm definitely in a GI Joe frame of mind right now so looking forward to making new posts.
ReplyDeleteAwesome. Alpine was one of my favorites. Which version is that? Almost looks like a 6 inch custom. Very cool.
ReplyDelete3.75 25th Ann. line. It was hit or miss with that line but this one was definitely a hit. They rereleased this same exact figure later on in the 50th ann. line.
ReplyDeleteCool figure. Not sure what kind of tool that is (a pick?)... but that would mess someone up.
ReplyDeleteYou guessed it! Alpine's a mountain climber. Although I'm sure in a pinch he wouldn't hesitate to whack a Cobra Trooper or two with it 😁
