Toy Stories

Somehow , amidst all the craziness  going on In my world right now , I've managed to start up a new blog ! The great thing about It Is that you will all be able to take part In it , lol ! I know,you never asked to be part of a new blog . Which Is precisely why I've sent invites to those of you whose email I already have on file . You don't have to accept ;) However , your contributions to the site would be greatly appreciated ! The name of the blog Is "Toy Stories" .  A place where all of us can contribute simply by posting a short , toy related story from our childhood . It's that easy . If you head over to the site ( Toy Stories ) now  , you can get further instructions on how to go about signing up . I've left an alternate email address there for those of you that are interested In writing for the blog . I'll receive your message and In turn send you an invite. All levels of writers are welcomed . Every 12 posts or so will mark the beginning of a new chapter.So,If this is something you think you might be interested In ,head on over and lets see If we can't get this Madball rolling!     Wonderful idea. I hope you get a good amount of contributors to join in. It'll be a great place to drop "stories" which wouldn't necessarily fit in with my main blog.

The other day ,my better half and I had the chance to traverse our local mall early In the day.I hate going to malls at peak hours or on the weekends.The crowds are just too damn cool for me.Long story short,our mall now has a toy store! I couldn't believe my eyes.From a far It looked like It was going to be some artsy fartsy place with educational toys ,wooden blocks and model kits,but no!This place had pretty much everything collectors go for nowadays.The name of the store Is "Go!,Toys and Games" and I can honestly say that I've never heard of It before.Everything was a dollar or two extra ,but that's not too bad considering how ridiculously expensive modern toys are In hobby and toy shops these days.I really hope this place sticks around. There Is a nice mix of everything.Marvel Legends,Star Wars  to blind bags to Funko figs.On top of that there are tons of board games   and books. WTF? Yes! 3 3/4 Marvel Legends!!!!!Not alot thou

Recent Pick Up!

My last "Merry Christmas To Me" post was going to be of Marvel Legends Spider-Man animated cartoon series figure that I thought I was getting a great deal on. It turns out the figure was a bootleg. $30 down the drain and a fake Spider Man figure in the trash. I didn't even bother trying to get a refund from the seller. I'll chalk it up to a loss and keep it moving. So today I figured I'd  treat myself to something dope in the toy aisles at my local Walmart and found this!  I'm not sure if this is a reissue or what but It was the last one on the pegs and so I grabbed it. Now I can't get that damned theme song out of my head.
