Round Robin Challenge: Fire All Over,Fire All Over!


OK,let's get the obvious out of the way.If a fire ever broke out In your home ,the first thing we'd all go after  would be our loved ones,pets included.But afterwards,If you had a guaranteed 1 minute window of time,which collectibles would you go back and rescue?Remember ,you only have 60 seconds.Do you go for quantity over quality  In a Wal Mart plastic shopping bag or do you run out with with a couple of expensive statues under each arm ?Round Robin Social Media Challengers want to know!


For me,It would have to be my Secret Wars figures.I only have eight  of them but I love them to death.

    Dude... those figures are awesome! When it comes to my toy collection... I don't really own too many sentimental or valuable items, so I guess I'll just grab something I really like. My Lego Slave 1.

    Also if I had any Secret Wars figures, I to would save them lol. I miss my Cap and Spidey but those were lost to me long ago in the 80s or 90s I think I stupidly sold them at a garage sale after replacing them with the Toy Biz figures. :O

      I don't blame the kid you for wanting to replace them with Toy Biz figures.At that point I was slowly transitioning from toys to baseball cards but that Wolvie with retractable claws and removable mask and Cyclops with light up eyes was making It very difficult for me lol.

    Dang! I really need to get involved in these challenges again! The holidays have kept me pretty busy. If I had to save one thing, it would be my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic collection. I have the full run of the original Mirage series 1,2 & 4, the Image comics, Archie and IDW run. LOVE READING THOSE THINGS!

The other day ,my better half and I had the chance to traverse our local mall early In the day.I hate going to malls at peak hours or on the weekends.The crowds are just too damn cool for me.Long story short,our mall now has a toy store! I couldn't believe my eyes.From a far It looked like It was going to be some artsy fartsy place with educational toys ,wooden blocks and model kits,but no!This place had pretty much everything collectors go for nowadays.The name of the store Is "Go!,Toys and Games" and I can honestly say that I've never heard of It before.Everything was a dollar or two extra ,but that's not too bad considering how ridiculously expensive modern toys are In hobby and toy shops these days.I really hope this place sticks around. There Is a nice mix of everything.Marvel Legends,Star Wars  to blind bags to Funko figs.On top of that there are tons of board games   and books. WTF? Yes! 3 3/4 Marvel Legends!!!!!Not alot thou

Recent Pick Up!

My last "Merry Christmas To Me" post was going to be of Marvel Legends Spider-Man animated cartoon series figure that I thought I was getting a great deal on. It turns out the figure was a bootleg. $30 down the drain and a fake Spider Man figure in the trash. I didn't even bother trying to get a refund from the seller. I'll chalk it up to a loss and keep it moving. So today I figured I'd  treat myself to something dope in the toy aisles at my local Walmart and found this!  I'm not sure if this is a reissue or what but It was the last one on the pegs and so I grabbed it. Now I can't get that damned theme song out of my head.
