2 MINUTE TOY BREAK !

Another Classified figure off the "want- list". Not in the mood to take many pics of the figure loose. So I just added a shot of what my collection looks like right now. It's been exhausting trying to snipe figures here and there on eBay. I'm not paying anything over 30 bucks for them, regardless of how cool the figure is. I just put a couple in my watch list and wait for the price to drop. Thanks to GI Jigsaw and Matt from Toy Box , I had a nice start off point. From there I've been able to add figures like Destro, Zartan and Snake Eyes. The hunt continues but the road is a rocky one. 

 

Most of us all grew up watching and loving GI Joe.  And while most cartoons in the 80s were male dominated, each had their share of leading ladies. My all time favorite will always be Lady Jaye! She was one of the guys. I liked that about her character. Short hair, jumpsuit, gloves the whole 9 yards. She pulled it off without even trying. Hasbro hit it out of the park with her Classified figure. Many thanks to GI Jigsaw for the hook up!  Who would watch a Netflix original series GI Joe spinoff featuring Lady Jaye and Flint?  The collection so far.

GI Jigsaw is the frikkin man! The Lady Jaye figure has been in my watch list forever. In fact, a while back  I had to choose between picking her or Flint and I chose Flint because I couldn't afford both. Now, thanks to Jigs I finally have Lady Jaye and an extra Flint! I'm ecstatic about LJ  but not sure what I'm gonna do with the other Flint. Repurpose it, pass it on or maybe save for trade. Either way I'm so appreciative of GIjigsaw in all his kindness. Seriously, like , I'm speechless over here. The Classified figures I add to my collection are few and far between and GI has really helped me out. I'm definitely gonna be sending something your way soon. It's the least I can do. Many, many thanks 🙏

I must admit that  I was totally blindsided by this package this morning☀️💥Jigsaw, once again, caught me off guard with this one much like he did with the box of dead he sent me a few months back. Yesterday was probably one of the worst days I've had in months and this surprise package from GIJigsaw really put a smile on my face. I'm not sure what it is yet and won't know until later on today as I'm on my way out with my daughter to run a couple of errands. Whatever it is, I'm super grateful! I gotta put something together for you Jigs and will once I get the chance to. You can count on it😉 To my readers, check back  later for the reveal 👍

I picked this up on eBay about a month ago. I haven't really posted about it because it's already been showcased so many times on other blogs and sites. Just happy to finally have another Classified figure in my collection.   

I was out with my daughter today at our local Walmart when I stumbled across this badly beaten up and creased  GI Joe Retro Duke figure.  I needed a classic styled 3.75 Duke and while this was far from my preferred version, It was readily available for purchase. In fact, It was the only GI Joe product on the shelf. These days, ya gotta pull the trigger on anything Joe related if your lucky enough to come across it in the wild. I don't have a classic styled 3.75 figure so this one will at least be a place holder until something better comes along.  He's not a horrible figure but not a great one either. The plastic seems a little gummier than the 25th anniversary figures. Also, the screaming effect molded onto the head sculpt is odd. I know what they were trying to go for but it doesn't hit the mark exactly. If you put him in a running pose It doesn't look bad and when on display it works. But if you're a kid playing with this figure the yellin...
