X-Mas Pick Up (Part 2)

My last Christmas gift to myself was fueled by my love for the Sega Genesis. Jaaks Pacific has been releasing these figures sporadically at my local Walmart. I was able to hunt down Axel, Roo and the  Altered Beast dragon figure but needed eBay to help me fill out the set. I passed on the Monkey Ball figure because it doesn't really have ties to any 16 bit Sega Genesis games that I actively played or have any memories of. 


I'm still undecided as to what I want to do with these figures. To open, or not to open, that is the question ❓ ❓ ❓

      I've come to the realization that it will be easier to store these figures loose. So, yeah, open. Thanks for stopping by and commenting, Tets.

    I love me anything related to the Sega Genesis. Now if they'd make some figures based on Road Rash or maybe NHL 94.

    Man, I knew I should have picked up the brown wolf and fighter from Streets of Rage when I saw them. Now I want all of these!

    Same here, Matt. I passed on these guys a few times thinking the line would stop at a couple figures. It didn't!

CT Toys - Spider-Man (Classic)

CT Toys is heavy on my radar right now. I was pleasantly surprised with Wolverine but this Spider-Man figure has made me a full fledged believer. Included are 5 sets of alternate hands, 1 with magnets (6 in all if you count the ones he comes equipped with), 1 extra set of articulated feet with magnets, 4 web streams and an alternate McFarlane style head sculpt. Oh, and a display stand.  I've said in the past how sucky I am at posing action figures. That said, MAFEX/CT figs are great for posing, even if you're not very good at it. 1990 Toy Biz Marvel Superheroes Daredevil

Growing up we had lots of cool superhero toys to collect. There was never a shortage of Batman, Superman or Spiderman figures in the toy aisles. Mainstream characters got all the love. Dudes like Daredevil, not so much. That all changed in the mid to late 80's (Mattel Secret Wars) and in 1990 Toy Biz would start releasing their seemingly neverending line of Marvel Superheroes that gave us action figures of everybody from  Daredevil to Deathlok.
