Funko Vinyl Soda - Captain America

It's kind of embarrassing that I'm so late to the Funko craze. I'm pretty sure toy bloggers every where have posted about these in the past and I probably bypassed it. At the height of Funko popularity I was strictly collecting 3.75 figures. Nothing more. In fact I can remember certain posts in which I criticized the Funko brand because of how ubiquitous it had become. They were everywhere! It took  me a while but as of late ive been able to appreciate the cool deco possibilities of not only the POP! figures and lunchboxes but these vinyl soda cans, too! 

Here's what you get! A  pog with a cool  headshot and a well made rubber/pvc figure! 

 These days, Funko is just what the doctor ordered and It's been a fun change of pace from my normal collecting habits. Stay tuned for my recent POP! figure pick ups!

    I've seen videos of these cans on YT before. My favorite thing about these products are the POGs ;D

    These would be cool for individual baseball players. How awesome would it be to have an Ohtani soda can,figure and pog!

The other day ,my better half and I had the chance to traverse our local mall early In the day.I hate going to malls at peak hours or on the weekends.The crowds are just too damn cool for me.Long story short,our mall now has a toy store! I couldn't believe my eyes.From a far It looked like It was going to be some artsy fartsy place with educational toys ,wooden blocks and model kits,but no!This place had pretty much everything collectors go for nowadays.The name of the store Is "Go!,Toys and Games" and I can honestly say that I've never heard of It before.Everything was a dollar or two extra ,but that's not too bad considering how ridiculously expensive modern toys are In hobby and toy shops these days.I really hope this place sticks around. There Is a nice mix of everything.Marvel Legends,Star Wars  to blind bags to Funko figs.On top of that there are tons of board games   and books. WTF? Yes! 3 3/4 Marvel Legends!!!!!Not alot thou

A GI Joe Post That's Not Classified

As much as I love the Classified line of Joe figures, I feel like there's other Joe stuff out there that deserve a little bit of that spotlight.   Pictured are two custom cardback figure protectors and four Diamond Select 💎  GI Joe figures.   I'd been looking for a way to protect my stashed 3.75  o-ring Joe's when I came across these online. I picked up William Perry's and Snake Eyes protectors and will be adding more as they are made available.   These are unpunched, clean and professional looking cardbacks that feature vintage artwork  on the front and file card on the back.  Diamond Select just doesn't get the props they deserve in my opinion. As much as I dig  their Marvel Minimates line, these Joe Minimates are equally cool! I'm not even sure I want to open these guys up. I mean I want to, but would hate to.
