Marvel Select - Immortal Hulk

I've never been much of a 6" action figure collector. I've always felt like Marvel Legends figures were cool but not much different than the smaller scaled  Marvel Universe figures. Certainly not distinguished enough for me to start collecting them. Marvel Select, however, appealed to me in the sense that the figures were much larger than Legends and sculpted differently. When comparing both lines it was almost as if I was looking at  different artists rendition of the same characters. Idk, it's kind of hard to explain, but I'm totally in my feels right now and Its all Marvel Select's fault.


 I'm kind of gushing 😭 over this Hulk figure! It's based on the Immortal Hulk story arc which I am not very familiar with. I'll have to do my homework, maybe pick up a few issues.

    Loved this one. Already had the 80th Anniv. Marvel Legends classic Hulk, but this one is in a class of his own

      I'm really enjoying Marvel Select's stuff right now. I'm not crazy about the head sculpts on certain figures but I like how Select dares to be different.

The other day ,my better half and I had the chance to traverse our local mall early In the day.I hate going to malls at peak hours or on the weekends.The crowds are just too damn cool for me.Long story short,our mall now has a toy store! I couldn't believe my eyes.From a far It looked like It was going to be some artsy fartsy place with educational toys ,wooden blocks and model kits,but no!This place had pretty much everything collectors go for nowadays.The name of the store Is "Go!,Toys and Games" and I can honestly say that I've never heard of It before.Everything was a dollar or two extra ,but that's not too bad considering how ridiculously expensive modern toys are In hobby and toy shops these days.I really hope this place sticks around. There Is a nice mix of everything.Marvel Legends,Star Wars  to blind bags to Funko figs.On top of that there are tons of board games   and books. WTF? Yes! 3 3/4 Marvel Legends!!!!!Not alot thou

Recent Pick Up!

My last "Merry Christmas To Me" post was going to be of Marvel Legends Spider-Man animated cartoon series figure that I thought I was getting a great deal on. It turns out the figure was a bootleg. $30 down the drain and a fake Spider Man figure in the trash. I didn't even bother trying to get a refund from the seller. I'll chalk it up to a loss and keep it moving. So today I figured I'd  treat myself to something dope in the toy aisles at my local Walmart and found this!  I'm not sure if this is a reissue or what but It was the last one on the pegs and so I grabbed it. Now I can't get that damned theme song out of my head.
