Polaroid Sun 600

Looking through my parents old closet of miscellaneous items, I came across a vintage Polaroid camera! I wasn't even aware that they still make these today, well repros anyways. So eventually I'll have to pick up some film to snap some pics of my action figures the old fashioned way. For now I thought the camera would look nice displayed next to some G1 Transformers!

  1. I think I said the same thing as I pulled it off the shelf. I hope it still works!

  2. Nice find. I just discovered that these things are popular again. One of my former students is graduating this year... and I asked her what she wanted. I was blown away when she said a Polaroid camera.

  3. My daughter had one of those smaller instant pic cameras they sell today. Wait until I show her the one that started the craze!

  4. I have a number of telephones, Walkman's, and other assorted electronics from the 80's and early 90's, but don't own any Polaroid cameras. If I ever came across a cheap one though, I'd totally buy it! Love yours by the way, and think that it does look really good with those Transformers. Very natural :)

  5. Thanks, Jon. I looked them up on eBay and they're surprisingly cheap. Most are in the $20 to $30 range.

  6. That's amazing. I went into an old camera store (which I had driven by 1000 times and never went in) this past weekend looking for a particular lens and they had a bunch of old cameras on display and for sale. It was cool.

  7. I bet, Jigs 📸 I'm hoping the new polaroid film they sell today works in the older models.
