Action Figure Of The Day

I was never a big fan of Funko and their POP! line of mini statues, but I really liked what they did with their 4" MOTU themed and retro styled figures. This is Scarecrow from the Funko Savage World line of DC figures, which IMO, looks cooler than his original design.

    I regret not getting the dc figures (I have the Joker Beast though) and will probably rectify that one day! Most of them look pretty cool including Scarecrow there!

    Next to the SpinMaster stuff, they are my favorite DC line but I only have one, this Scarecrow 😂

    While I never collected a lot of DC or MOTU, these were so cool. Only ones I never found was Flash and Superman.

    I think my problem was that these, I believe, were sold exclusively at Target. I hate Target😜

      They were originally sold at Amazon at the end of 2018 but the first series had severe quality control issues. Target picked up exclusivity for early 2019 and they got a second batch of product with much better quality control and some cool exclusives like an oversized comic book and lunchboxes. The second series was available through multiple places, including BBTS.

      My last trip to Target,which was brief, I saw two of the Street Fighter figures on cleat for 5 bucks. I liked that run too.

      I would have picked up all o the Street Fighter figures but I really had no faith that Funko would release at least the original 12, and I was right. They tend to start new lines and then forget about them just as quickly.

      Don't you hate that? I felt the same way about the Hasbro Gamerverse figs when they released that Ryu figure and nothing more after.

    I went through a Pop phase, but kind of regret it since they take up too much space. I probably should have just spent my money on action figures or better yet... cards.

The other day ,my better half and I had the chance to traverse our local mall early In the day.I hate going to malls at peak hours or on the weekends.The crowds are just too damn cool for me.Long story short,our mall now has a toy store! I couldn't believe my eyes.From a far It looked like It was going to be some artsy fartsy place with educational toys ,wooden blocks and model kits,but no!This place had pretty much everything collectors go for nowadays.The name of the store Is "Go!,Toys and Games" and I can honestly say that I've never heard of It before.Everything was a dollar or two extra ,but that's not too bad considering how ridiculously expensive modern toys are In hobby and toy shops these days.I really hope this place sticks around. There Is a nice mix of everything.Marvel Legends,Star Wars  to blind bags to Funko figs.On top of that there are tons of board games   and books. WTF? Yes! 3 3/4 Marvel Legends!!!!!Not alot thou

A GI Joe Post That's Not Classified

As much as I love the Classified line of Joe figures, I feel like there's other Joe stuff out there that deserve a little bit of that spotlight.   Pictured are two custom cardback figure protectors and four Diamond Select 💎  GI Joe figures.   I'd been looking for a way to protect my stashed 3.75  o-ring Joe's when I came across these online. I picked up William Perry's and Snake Eyes protectors and will be adding more as they are made available.   These are unpunched, clean and professional looking cardbacks that feature vintage artwork  on the front and file card on the back.  Diamond Select just doesn't get the props they deserve in my opinion. As much as I dig  their Marvel Minimates line, these Joe Minimates are equally cool! I'm not even sure I want to open these guys up. I mean I want to, but would hate to.

Recent Pick Up!

My last "Merry Christmas To Me" post was going to be of Marvel Legends Spider-Man animated cartoon series figure that I thought I was getting a great deal on. It turns out the figure was a bootleg. $30 down the drain and a fake Spider Man figure in the trash. I didn't even bother trying to get a refund from the seller. I'll chalk it up to a loss and keep it moving. So today I figured I'd  treat myself to something dope in the toy aisles at my local Walmart and found this!  I'm not sure if this is a reissue or what but It was the last one on the pegs and so I grabbed it. Now I can't get that damned theme song out of my head.
