A Personal Thank You!


I just wanted to take a second to thank everyone who has taken the time out of their busy schedules  to read and/or comment on 2 Minute Toy Break! You guys all know who you are👍 These little trips I take down memory lane to revisit awesome childhood action figure memories just wouldn't be the same without you. I truly appreciate the feedback as well as the nerdy back and forth banter 😝  I'll always be a kid at heart and this site is just an extension of that. Thank you for being a part of it 🙏

    You're setting the bar awfully high for your fellow bloggers, Tone! Here you are looking like you just stepped off of a GQ cover, meanwhile I'm over here looking like the centerfold for Samsquanch (please tell me you get the reference?) monthly :)

    All joking aside, your blog, and it's content, are very fun (I wish I would've found it sooner). And it's always nice to be able to put a face to it's blog.

      Funny you mention that because exactly one year ago ( I checked the dates) I started messing around with google's blogger inspired by your page and how much fun you have with the toys! I was kind of bummed I seemed to not be able to upload pictures though and I left it there, but now I checked it out again (same draft still there lmao) and seems I can just upload pictures from my computer! I didnt have that option when I started who knows why. So yeah I might finish what I had planned uploading and when I do so I will surely drop you the link!

The other day ,my better half and I had the chance to traverse our local mall early In the day.I hate going to malls at peak hours or on the weekends.The crowds are just too damn cool for me.Long story short,our mall now has a toy store! I couldn't believe my eyes.From a far It looked like It was going to be some artsy fartsy place with educational toys ,wooden blocks and model kits,but no!This place had pretty much everything collectors go for nowadays.The name of the store Is "Go!,Toys and Games" and I can honestly say that I've never heard of It before.Everything was a dollar or two extra ,but that's not too bad considering how ridiculously expensive modern toys are In hobby and toy shops these days.I really hope this place sticks around. There Is a nice mix of everything.Marvel Legends,Star Wars  to blind bags to Funko figs.On top of that there are tons of board games   and books. WTF? Yes! 3 3/4 Marvel Legends!!!!!Not alot thou

Recent Pick Up!

My last "Merry Christmas To Me" post was going to be of Marvel Legends Spider-Man animated cartoon series figure that I thought I was getting a great deal on. It turns out the figure was a bootleg. $30 down the drain and a fake Spider Man figure in the trash. I didn't even bother trying to get a refund from the seller. I'll chalk it up to a loss and keep it moving. So today I figured I'd  treat myself to something dope in the toy aisles at my local Walmart and found this!  I'm not sure if this is a reissue or what but It was the last one on the pegs and so I grabbed it. Now I can't get that damned theme song out of my head.
