DC Spin Master The Caped Crusader - Joker

The Joker Is my newest addition from the DC Spin Master  line of action figures.  I passed this figure up a few times thinking he'd be warming the pegs and I'd be able to snag him up at a later time. I was right. There's still a few of these left at my local Wal Mart. 


While not my favorite figure from the line, The Joker was a must-add. Nothing amazing about this figure, just a decent rendition of  old school Joker.



As random as this DC Spin Master line Is, Joker's collectible card was the same as Batman's. It would have been cool to have an original Joker action shot, but not a big deal,really.

And here they are! Yes, I got a pair of  bat-gauntlets to equip my Tactical Batman figure with! I'm also digging the boxing glove mini bazooka and exploding chattering teeth! Both look good with this Joker figure.








      The classic Joker/Batman face off! 





While the the draw here Is to complete Batman's armor ensemble, It's also cool to be able to  mix and match accessories.I now have the gauntlets and helmet. Next I'll need his chest plate. For now I'll use Cyborgs jet pack.

Ahhh, memories of 1990 quick change Batman from Kenner! Hideously awesome!

    The pink chattering teeth are awesome! I think it's the first accessory that I really, really like. But the green boxing glove bazooka is interesting too. I was going to comment on the shape, but figured this is a family rated blog, so I'll keep it at that.

The other day ,my better half and I had the chance to traverse our local mall early In the day.I hate going to malls at peak hours or on the weekends.The crowds are just too damn cool for me.Long story short,our mall now has a toy store! I couldn't believe my eyes.From a far It looked like It was going to be some artsy fartsy place with educational toys ,wooden blocks and model kits,but no!This place had pretty much everything collectors go for nowadays.The name of the store Is "Go!,Toys and Games" and I can honestly say that I've never heard of It before.Everything was a dollar or two extra ,but that's not too bad considering how ridiculously expensive modern toys are In hobby and toy shops these days.I really hope this place sticks around. There Is a nice mix of everything.Marvel Legends,Star Wars  to blind bags to Funko figs.On top of that there are tons of board games   and books. WTF? Yes! 3 3/4 Marvel Legends!!!!!Not alot thou

A GI Joe Post That's Not Classified

As much as I love the Classified line of Joe figures, I feel like there's other Joe stuff out there that deserve a little bit of that spotlight.   Pictured are two custom cardback figure protectors and four Diamond Select 💎  GI Joe figures.   I'd been looking for a way to protect my stashed 3.75  o-ring Joe's when I came across these online. I picked up William Perry's and Snake Eyes protectors and will be adding more as they are made available.   These are unpunched, clean and professional looking cardbacks that feature vintage artwork  on the front and file card on the back.  Diamond Select just doesn't get the props they deserve in my opinion. As much as I dig  their Marvel Minimates line, these Joe Minimates are equally cool! I'm not even sure I want to open these guys up. I mean I want to, but would hate to.
