G.I. Joe 25th Ann. - Major Bludd

When you say the name G.I. Joe or even Cobra for that matter,Major Bludd hardly ever comes to mind. At least not these days ,anyways. It's all about Destro , Cobra Commander and the infamous Cobra ninja Storm Shadow. No love for Bludd,tho :( And he was such a cool character ! That menacing fu manchu mustache and the eye patch ! And lest we forget the dog tags , that  cool looking blaster and robotic arm! Major Bludd was so bad ass he didn't even sport a  Cobra faction insignia . Also...MAJOR BLUDD...COOLEST NAME EVER! I know they killed him off In Resolute but I'm not exactly sure where his character stands In the comics . He definitely needs to make a comeback IMO. 







Ughh..packing sucks!!!

    I didn't have many TF's as a kid. GI Joes, yes!All the ones you see In this box I had as a kid except for Optimus,Jazz Ravage and Rumble.

    I hear you on the packing part. It's what is really motivating me to start offloading things at the beginning of next year. Planning to relocate in April, and not wanting to pack, move and unpack things, let alone set them all up again.

      On his file card he is labeled as a terrorist. Who knows If that has anything to do with it .

The other day ,my better half and I had the chance to traverse our local mall early In the day.I hate going to malls at peak hours or on the weekends.The crowds are just too damn cool for me.Long story short,our mall now has a toy store! I couldn't believe my eyes.From a far It looked like It was going to be some artsy fartsy place with educational toys ,wooden blocks and model kits,but no!This place had pretty much everything collectors go for nowadays.The name of the store Is "Go!,Toys and Games" and I can honestly say that I've never heard of It before.Everything was a dollar or two extra ,but that's not too bad considering how ridiculously expensive modern toys are In hobby and toy shops these days.I really hope this place sticks around. There Is a nice mix of everything.Marvel Legends,Star Wars  to blind bags to Funko figs.On top of that there are tons of board games   and books. WTF? Yes! 3 3/4 Marvel Legends!!!!!Not alot thou

A GI Joe Post That's Not Classified

As much as I love the Classified line of Joe figures, I feel like there's other Joe stuff out there that deserve a little bit of that spotlight.   Pictured are two custom cardback figure protectors and four Diamond Select 💎  GI Joe figures.   I'd been looking for a way to protect my stashed 3.75  o-ring Joe's when I came across these online. I picked up William Perry's and Snake Eyes protectors and will be adding more as they are made available.   These are unpunched, clean and professional looking cardbacks that feature vintage artwork  on the front and file card on the back.  Diamond Select just doesn't get the props they deserve in my opinion. As much as I dig  their Marvel Minimates line, these Joe Minimates are equally cool! I'm not even sure I want to open these guys up. I mean I want to, but would hate to.

Recent Pick Up!

My last "Merry Christmas To Me" post was going to be of Marvel Legends Spider-Man animated cartoon series figure that I thought I was getting a great deal on. It turns out the figure was a bootleg. $30 down the drain and a fake Spider Man figure in the trash. I didn't even bother trying to get a refund from the seller. I'll chalk it up to a loss and keep it moving. So today I figured I'd  treat myself to something dope in the toy aisles at my local Walmart and found this!  I'm not sure if this is a reissue or what but It was the last one on the pegs and so I grabbed it. Now I can't get that damned theme song out of my head.
