Sometimes,One Must Venture Out

Saturday morning was quite the nostalgic one.I caught some Heathcliff on Pluto TV (If you have the Fire Stick, definitely download the Pluto app) and  got an early start on yard work and other daily doings. The chill In the air reminded me of childhood autumn days spent playing  outdoors with your friends .Fall's initial batch of downed  leaves rustling brought back memories   of  playing touch football in the street and  the tall grass reminded me to snap the hell out of it and get to mowing my lawn. Really, just a great morning overall. So great that I decided to make It even greater by venturing out into wild to do some toy hunting.Stops included a local comic shop, baseball card hobby shop and Target. The comic shop was a bust but the card shop had a ton of  cool stuff, just a bit overpriced.I managed to come away with Matt Tracker and Miles Mayhem.Target had a bunch of overpriced Legends 3 3/4 figures and ninja turtles that had been peg warming for so long, they were now senior citizen mutant ninja turtles. Each turtle came with an AARP card.I did stumble across this Zorn figure. For the second time actually.I had recently passed him up.It turns out the brand I so vehemently bashed the other day, ultimately, came away with my business. The figure looks fantastic and I'm looking forward to breaking him out of his plastic confines. The games were ebay purchases that coincidentally arrived on what was probably the best Saturday I've had in a months.

  1. I had a buddy who was obsessed with Chrono Cross. Graphics were cool... but I never got into the game myself.

  4. What better way to get out of a toy funk than with Funko, right?I guarantee It will be the last Funko product I ever buy.Maybe.I thought Zorn looked a little out of scale too but looking at it now,in the packaging next to my Remco and Motu figs, he looks to be in scale.
