...was all It took to get me hooked on  this...

...which,ultimately ,led me to really, really wanting this!

#1 Mattel Secret Wars Captain America

As much as I loved G.I. Joe as as a kid,the harsh reality was that they were just filling the void Marvel couldn't, with their lack of a mainstream cartoon presence.I will go to the grave a Marvel fan.The seemingly endless amount of brightly costumed characters, universes, affiliations and plot twists was enough to reel me In not only at an early age,but now as an adult .To me ,Captain America will always be the face of Marvel.I had a couple Secret Wars figures as a kid.Captain America,Spider-Man(red and black) and Dr.Doom ,but Captain America was  and still Is my favorite!

  1. I don't think I ever owned any Secret Wars figures as a kid. I was more of a Star Wars guy. But that doesn't keep me from appreciating cool figures. Thanks for sharing your Top 20 list!

    1. I've seen others do that.Or you could just use a Marvel Universe shield. Some people draw the shield in the shape of the lenticular insert and place It into the original Secret wars shield.

  3. As a kid my favorite Secret Wars figures I owned were Daredevil, Captain America, Doctor Doom and Doctor Octopus! I don't know anyone who had Doc Ock and didn't have the bendable arms break off!
