Marvel Toybiz - Kingpin

Toybiz made pretty much every character that saw the light In a  Marvel Comic at one point or another.Hasbro has a ways to go If they want to catch up with them.For instance,we still haven't gotten a Marvel Universe Kingpin figure.I suppose one will be released at some point,but for now,this Toybiz version will have to do.





He doesn't look great   with the newer Marvel Universe figures ,but It's the only Knigpin I have right now.Thanks to John Gaither for sending him over!

    A character like Kingpin doesn't need a whole lot of articulation anyways,so,he's not too bad T-Box ;)

    I like that figurine of Kingpin. We often see it at the flea market but its always in bad shape...

      This one isn't perfect either.White figures tend to show wear easier than those with a more solid color.

The other day ,my better half and I had the chance to traverse our local mall early In the day.I hate going to malls at peak hours or on the weekends.The crowds are just too damn cool for me.Long story short,our mall now has a toy store! I couldn't believe my eyes.From a far It looked like It was going to be some artsy fartsy place with educational toys ,wooden blocks and model kits,but no!This place had pretty much everything collectors go for nowadays.The name of the store Is "Go!,Toys and Games" and I can honestly say that I've never heard of It before.Everything was a dollar or two extra ,but that's not too bad considering how ridiculously expensive modern toys are In hobby and toy shops these days.I really hope this place sticks around. There Is a nice mix of everything.Marvel Legends,Star Wars  to blind bags to Funko figs.On top of that there are tons of board games   and books. WTF? Yes! 3 3/4 Marvel Legends!!!!!Not alot thou

Recent Pick Up!

My last "Merry Christmas To Me" post was going to be of Marvel Legends Spider-Man animated cartoon series figure that I thought I was getting a great deal on. It turns out the figure was a bootleg. $30 down the drain and a fake Spider Man figure in the trash. I didn't even bother trying to get a refund from the seller. I'll chalk it up to a loss and keep it moving. So today I figured I'd  treat myself to something dope in the toy aisles at my local Walmart and found this!  I'm not sure if this is a reissue or what but It was the last one on the pegs and so I grabbed it. Now I can't get that damned theme song out of my head.
