Marvel Universe - Klaw

Once again ,Marvel Universe has the honor of  receiving another post here on 2 Minute Toy Break.Recently,there has been a price droppage on most everything Marvel Universe and I've been taking advantage of It.Seems like I've been chasing after these Secret Wars figures for ever.I was too busy chasing down G.I. Joe at the time of their release,foolishly believing that they'd be re- released at some point.My goal was and still Is to gather up as many figures from the series as possible. Klaw comes In a two pack with Captain America ,the first two pack  of  many  that subsequently  released commemorating the original run  of  the Secret Wars comics.He doesn't make an appearance In the Secret Wars  series until the later issues.

    Klaw looks awesome and looks great in that image with Doom in Castle Doom. I to love Secret Wars but for me I think its due to the toyline (my first Marvel toys that I had as a kid, yes I'm that old lol) and not so much the comic.

      I took that shot of Klaw and Doom because of Secret Wars issue 12,where Klaw plays servant to Doom.

    this guy , for some reason, I remember them making an original Secret wars figure of but they didnt. I think its the Mandela effect in play because I clearly remember him.

      I know there were quite a few Latin American released figures that never made their way up to the states.Could have been one of those.

The other day ,my better half and I had the chance to traverse our local mall early In the day.I hate going to malls at peak hours or on the weekends.The crowds are just too damn cool for me.Long story short,our mall now has a toy store! I couldn't believe my eyes.From a far It looked like It was going to be some artsy fartsy place with educational toys ,wooden blocks and model kits,but no!This place had pretty much everything collectors go for nowadays.The name of the store Is "Go!,Toys and Games" and I can honestly say that I've never heard of It before.Everything was a dollar or two extra ,but that's not too bad considering how ridiculously expensive modern toys are In hobby and toy shops these days.I really hope this place sticks around. There Is a nice mix of everything.Marvel Legends,Star Wars  to blind bags to Funko figs.On top of that there are tons of board games   and books. WTF? Yes! 3 3/4 Marvel Legends!!!!!Not alot thou

Recent Pick Up!

My last "Merry Christmas To Me" post was going to be of Marvel Legends Spider-Man animated cartoon series figure that I thought I was getting a great deal on. It turns out the figure was a bootleg. $30 down the drain and a fake Spider Man figure in the trash. I didn't even bother trying to get a refund from the seller. I'll chalk it up to a loss and keep it moving. So today I figured I'd  treat myself to something dope in the toy aisles at my local Walmart and found this!  I'm not sure if this is a reissue or what but It was the last one on the pegs and so I grabbed it. Now I can't get that damned theme song out of my head.
