Marvel Titan Hero Series - Falcon & Iron Man

I can remember seeing these on toy shelves when they first came out and totally dogging them.Seeing them inside of those funny looking long boxes didn't help things either.I thought ,well maybe just another gimmick for the kids ,but definitely not for the adult toy collector. The first few waves did nothing for me,and I thought the line would never  gain any momentum. Then I began seeing online pics of upcoming waves featuring guys like Green Goblin,Black Suit Spider-Man and Falcon. Not only that but some came with accessories and vehicles as well !Then I received a Titan Hulk for X-Mas and loved the way It looked on display, and instantly wanted more for the toy shelf.Derek (Orniphus) of Coolandunusual ,must have picked up on that and sent me an e-mail stating that he had a slightly banged up Falcon and Iron Man Titan figure, and If I had any use for them.I knew that I would eventually add some more Titans to my collection but I never thought they'd come by way of a gift from another fellow blogger.Well, such was the case.A few days later, and I now have two new Marvel Titan Heroe's to accompany Hulk on the shelf! These figures scream "Look at me!" ,wherever you choose to display them In your toy room. They are made of a light plastic ,but stand sturdy. The shiny paint on them really pops, especially on the brighter colored characters.Even though they are pretty stabilized, the fact that they are hollow scares me because I'm pretty sure that all It will take Is a couple of falls for something to crack on them. But Like I said, any chance of that happening Is slim considering how they stand so well.If your looking to get Into this line,I would recommend starting off with the Hulk .He'll  grow on you ,forcing you to snag up a couple more..Thanks to Orniphus,my want list has been shortened.Enjoy the pics!

  1. They are ALL over Mexico. In every single store. NO 3.75 Marvel Universe of course. But these guys are here.

  3. Glad you liked these. I picked them up out of curiosity when Tesco had them marked down to €3 each. They're pretty cool, but I don't really have the room in the collection for them. I had thought they'd be cool statues to use to line a custom diorama, but never got around to it.

    1. These guys look at me every morning when I wake up ,my toy shelf is In our master bedroom. I love em!I was going to ask you, what kind of paint would you recommend me using to touch up the Falcon figure?I was going to leave It as Is but I'm thinking a couple dabs is all It needs.

    2. A couple dabs would do in a perfect world, but you'll probably have trouble matching paints, you'd think white was white lol.

For one I'd choose to paint a section rather than just dabbing into the chips. I'd mask off a square on the chest to ensure you don't wind up with a lot of paint running everywhere and try to fill that square with paint. Or maybe paint a different colour of paint in that square.

Send me pics or email me if you're having trouble.

    3. Too late D,total fail.I used some of my girlfriends white nail polish and it looked good at first but dried horribly. When I tried to remove It ,It rubbed off more of the original paint ,lol!I'm laughing now but I was heated when It happened.I'm just gonna try and find another Falcon In the wild,If thats even possible. It's all good, though.Iron Man Is hangin' tough next to Hulk still.

    4. Nothing that couldn't be remedied I'm sure, I'd sand it down and start again to clear the polish off. Or if you buy some cheap paints you could try to make a new character altogether. No loss anyway lol
